I would almost be tempted to say "Why doesn't someone try to run T1, and if they finish t1, see if the party wants to do t1-t4 or is it out of gas."

I am half tempted to run a rappan athuk game with the goal being how many PCs are chewed up by that one, but that is another one that not very suitable for PbP

I absolutely LOVE T1-4....have run it (or slightly modified versions of it) 3 times (including in the middle of it right now with a RL group); and played it 3 times (allthough 1 of those times it was changed so much that it could hardly be called the "Temple of Elemental Evil")

I would be happy to run it (or as DH suggests; start with just T1)....but my only concern is that I'm REALLY LOUSY with computer stuff like scanning maps and pictures, etc.

Maybe......if I had a technical assistant; I could do it? Thoughts?

Reviewing the ideas suggested on this thread I've decided to commence with DH's idea, and start with running T1 before taking inventory of what my players would like. This will be using the AEC. House Rules will be posted on the forum when I can get the game up. Thanks to all who've shown interest thusfar

An idea occurs to me for getting the game moving quicker; please consider/throw aside as you will!

The PCs could all begin having allready met each other and working as an Adventuring party; and either in the Inn of the Welcome Wench learning about the increase in banditry and the old Moathouse nearby from Ostler (or whomever)......or even further cut thru the obligatory "Tavern scene"; and have the party having allready learned of this and they begin nearing the drawbridge for said Moathouse. (With or without certain NPCs joining the party)

Thoughts?

Yes, the players more-or-less already know eachother from the road (loosely at worst).

Well with both Max and DH I am keep recruitment open but to start the game i have the amount of players I so desire. Keep watch for the thread to appear on the main page and prepare to roll characters from LL's AEC at level 3
