Looking for a Game (New Player)
Hello, name's Brittney. As I stated in my Introduction forum post, I am a new player to RPG posting games, but I have done a few games on Roll20, so I do have some experience, but not on this type of setting.
I am looking for some games to join, I am not picky on setting, but I would prefer if the game is relatively new. The only reason for that is because I feel awkward joining a game that's been playing for a bit because I feel like I just popped in on something I shouldn't and I find it awkward. I wouldn't be against it if..say..the game has multiple arcs and I don't need to know what happened in the past, but I would still prefer to be in a game that just started or has only been played for a short time.
I'm interested in discussing anything, so please let me know if you have something. I am new to this, so bare with me as I struggle, but I promise to put a lot into it.

Welcome to the site! If you're not picky on setting, then you certainly won't have any problems picking up a game. Are you also not picky on rule system?
In general it seems like the 'What would you like to play?' thread has become the de facto place for sounding out game ideas, and if enough people express interest then a recruitment thread will be made. It might be worth it to trawl through the last few pages of that and see if there's anything you'd like to jump in on.
I'm winding up to start a small open sandbox-style game, in an ancient orient setting—Egyptian Pharaohs, square-bearded Babylonian charioteers, efreets and genies, that sort of thing—but it's using the old first edition rules of Warhammer, not D&D.
Hope you find a game or two soon!

A Village With No Name is still looking for a player. I would be more than happy to have anyone join.

I'd love to play Other Dust if you ever run it!
Also, my SWN game "Cat's Cradle" is always up for new players! Right now the crew's diverted a government terraformer for later "retrieval"

Welcome to the US FantasyChic. I hope you find a campaign you feel comfortable with.
I am running two campaigns, one new one (D&D BECMI) that is just getting started and another (sandbox D&D-ish) that has been running for a bit but you could easily jump in as there are multiple groups ambling about the place, and they have both pretty much recently started new adventures. Here are the two campaigns, feel free to browse around and give me a shout if you are interested.
GreyWolfVT, MonkeyWrench, and Sol would probably be happy to tell you a little about my DMing style.
The Völsunga Chronicles (BECMI)
Dragons Belch: A New Beginning

Welcome!
If you're still looking, I'm starting a Burning Wheel game - it is a different style of system that is heavy on the character development, growth, and IC beliefs. The setting is Tolkien, with Smaug just having claimed the Lonely Mountain and destroyed Dale, and the PCs being refugees of some kind finding their way forward in the aftermath.
