Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
Maybe it's time for a dmw apb.
Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
Already tried contacting him via gmail. No response thus far.

Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
I think he really is disgusted that we are going to have a tpk by walking into a enemy army after he spent like 500 hours putting all his rules in order.
Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
Okay guess I was wrong but I guess something serious or fully involving has happened if he is uncontactable.

One possible tpk....Computer +1 wrote:I think he really is disgusted that we are going to have a tpk by walking into a enemy army after he spent like 500 hours putting all his rules in order.
The drum is a decoy. Maybe it actually is an army (just beyond the treelines) and he is rolling modified individual initiatives for each of the surrounding 250+ archers for a surprise volley.
anybody else?
Oh yea, "They have a cave troll" usually works too.

Without going into details, I am going to need an indefinite leave of absence from this (and all games) I have been a part of.saalaria wrote:Okay guess I was wrong but I guess something serious or fully involving has happened if he is uncontactable.
My apologies to all.

P.S. Ethan (and Ron, in case he's lurking), I did get your e-mails. Will try to respond at some point.

Understood. Thanks for coming back to mention it. I hope all is ok, naturally.

We'll shelve this game and await your return. Let me know if you need anything, brother.

Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
Dave I hope all is well. Good luck and we are all thinking of ya.
Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
Can't wait. Ewell has been suffering from glory and honor withdrawl and is looking to blindly confront a few hundred goblins and orcs.

Very excited to see this starting back up!
Lots of PbP activity going on here on the Unseen Servant.

Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
lol.
Was looking over my character sheet to re-familiarize myself with him. Saw his XP (180) and XP with Bonus (270) and thought, "?? How the heck did I get THAT number???"
Then remembered the +50% XP bonus for being human.
I love this game.

Yep... It is going to take several weeks to re-learn all those rules. But, remembering that we were also in a possibly disasterously tight pickle, might not even get to use half of them...Alethan wrote:lol.

I even forgot about that one!Alethan wrote:Then remembered the +50% XP bonus for being human.

It is exactly this reason I'm not ready to jump right back into playing; I need to brush up on my own rules.

If it is easier, you could always round up to 100% bonus. Just trying to help you out, of course....

Experience Points
I took some time today and updated the 'Experience Points' page. Jareth was missing some experience points (PM sent) and Garth doesn't have any recorded on his character sheet, but everyone else appears to be up-to-date.
I will attempt to keep the above page updated as accurately as possible, but I primarily track experience points elsewhere.
Keep in mind, the burden of proof lies on the player in the event there is ever a discrepancy.

Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
Yea, I just needs to count up and edit the sheet.
I think I will just change the name in "The Inn of the Unseen Servant", after all, This Garth was the original.
Not sure how to go about this in the Dice Roller.....
I am thinking to use the existing die history for Foxmoore, and just duplicating the attributes without any 'official' die rolls for stats in the Inn.
That sound like a plan Stonjuz?

Re: (Almost) Anything Goes
As written, the adventure entitled Out thru the Inn Door, is coming to a close. (those in that game will soon find out why)
The game entitled Inn of the Unseen Servant can/will continue but will be alot different. Some will leave, some will stay....just like the portal party.
Do you what you must. Gryehawk is a big place.
Im wanting to get a little closer to the original idea of a forum game where everyone can interact, a living city, kind of thing, and it still needs work....
Id rather not you play garth two at a time, especially since im playing alongside the real one.'
Play him out in Unseen Servant (at least until dmw is ready) and I can almost guarantee that he'll be dead, er, .... I mean....free.
