All over, really. Grew up in the Kootenays (1 mountain range over from the Rockies), high school up north, then moved to the coast to go to school. Did my undergrad in Victoria.

Lucky. I love the Kootenays! I climbed Kootenay Mountain in 2013 (near Creston) and took a climbing trip to the Valhallas (near Slocan/Nelson/Castlegar) last September. Beautiful areas. Some unspoiled country up there for sure.

Much of my clan comes from Creston and thereabouts. (On my mothers side.).

You climb? I spent most of university climbing...bunch of time spent in Squamish on the Chief!

There's a great multipitch climb on Mount Yak on the Coquihalla highway heading to Vancouver.

I don't climb as often as I'd like anymore, but I still manage to get out a bit. Alpinist had a great issue on BC climbing and Squamish. Looks like a great place!

I made an adjustment to the How This Works thread to make signature items A Thing, if you want them to be. This new system is totally optional if the bookkeeping seems like too much of a pain, but in general I also humbly request feedback via the OOC thread.
