Kryssah's Walkabout
Re: Kryssah's Walkabout
Kryssah, armed but unarmored, has no problem shadowing the cloaked figure as he heads north past the temple, towards the market. She almost loses him in the market crowds, but manages to catch a glimpse of him walking quickly on the East Road towards the Hunter's (east) Gate. There are various hovels and small shops to your north, and an open field to your south - giving way to the fenced-in town gardens and livestock.
The cloaked figure is stopped at the south side of the guard substation just inside the town wall, he appears to be conversing with a guard. Something is exchanged between them, the guard waves at his counterpart in the tower, and a third guard at the door begins to open it.
Kryssah would be about 60 feet from the guard substation on the road, there would be plenty of small buildings to your north, along the road, to hide behind if you choose to do that. Otherwise you are in the open.
Actions?
Cloaked figure evades on a roll of 3-6 in the crowd:
Kryssah pursuit: [1d6] = 1

Being as stealthy as possible, she uses the available buildings for cover.

Re: Kryssah's Walkabout
The gates open and the cloaked figure walks briskly through, headed east along the dirt road towards the edge of the Silverwoood.
You can see the overall map view with the Silverwood to the east of town here:

Kryssah picks up her pace. Holding up three gold coins in her left hand, she attempts to get outside the gate before it closes. 'Not sure why the guard was bribed to open the gate, perhaps I can slip through with another bribe,' she thinks.

Re: Kryssah's Walkabout
The gate slowly closes as Kryssah approaches, the guard near the gatehouse moves into the road and eyes her approach. He is older, clearly of some seniority. Behind him, a sign on the gate reads "Hunter's Gate ~ Official Business Only by Order of the Regent".
"Hold there, you'll need to use the north or south gate," the guard says, arms crossed. The guard in the tower seems to not notice.

"Excuse me Captain, you must be a Captain, since you obviously are in charge," Kryssah says, smiling sweetly."I have business with that man, and I simply must speak with him. Is there a way for me to pass? I can pay the toll," she says softly, holding up three gold coins.

Guard reaction: [2d6] = 10
The guard glares at Kryssah, ignoring the offered coins. "Clearly you can't read. Official bussiness only. Got it?"

Still smiling, Kryssah asks,"Alright, fine. So how would one gain passage through the gate?"

"Official business, you know, like town officials or those bearing the Regent's seal. You have one of those?" the guard replies.

"No, can't say that I do." Kryssah then turns and walks back to the inn as she considers her next move.
ooc: Well I quess I have split the party for long enough.
