Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Canis(Crow) nods, "Lets wait until morning to see what we find... I'll go see if we can find any witnesses." Canis(Crow) then starts heading back towards the main part of town, headed for the tavern. He keeps an eye out for any locals out on the roads or otherwise visible...

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
He finds that indeed Rethor's conclusion is apt. It does appear the beast transformed into a human form and continued off into the forest perhaps to it's lair as did some of the other tracks, it does appear it was a pack effort and not a lone wolf.ybn1197 wrote:What does Arastor find?ybn1197 wrote:As the others talk, Arastor will take it upon himself to investigate the tracks. Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
At this point does the party stay where the tracks change or go back to town? Rethor is awaiting the decision. Crow appears to want to go back to town and look for folks to question about the encounters. Krakus wants to perhaps set some silver traps somewhere.
Rethor looks around watching and suspecting something to come after them "Well I've lead you here but I must go back and check on the town and my other guards. There aren't many and I've been gone too long. It should be easy to get back from here if you wish I will wait and you all can follow me back or if you think you can find your way back I'll send someone to watch for your return. If it helps any the attacks so far have only happened on the nights of a full moon." he finishes waits politely for a reply before he starts back to town.

So, let us ask the obvious question. When is the next full moon?

The following day is the next marked full moon. So you can investigate tonight set traps tonight or tomorrow morning. Still have an entire day to try and track those tracks in the forest and so forth.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
The group heads back to the town Rethor leaves the party by the town circle. "I've got to head back to the barracks. Feel free to visit the tavern and inn. Might even get more information from the old fisherman that lives in the shack by the lake." and he walks off to find his men and get up to date on what he missed out on while he was gone.

Krakus- I agree, who has any skill in making traps? We should get them done as soon as possible.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
So the party decides it is not worth doing too much this night and start formulating a plan to set some traps, perhaps deal with interviewing witnesses in the morning. Crow mingles in the town a little looking for folk to talk to the others start considering checking out one of the two homes. Rethor has rooms at the inn free of charge for the group. The Tavern this night has a sign indicating that there is a Bard tonight that will be singing songs for entertainment.
Sign:
Tonight the bard Hetfield Singing "Of Wolf And Man"
