New Players FYI,

For those of you who are new to this campaign, I just wanted to let you know that my posting rate varies, and I typically like to wait for everyone to make at least a single post before I move on. I am a full time student and work 30+ hrs a week so sometimes I'm not able to make a post for a day or two. Everyone so far has been ok with this posting rate. If this becomes an issue for anyone please let me know. Also MonkeyWrench rarely posts on the weekends, but the rest of us do sometimes, it's hit and miss with me.

XP Totals have been updated under the "Spoils of War" thread. Most of you are getting close to leveling up (1500 for 1st level).

Hey All,

I've been neglecting a major cleanup revision to my Core Rules documents for some time now. It will probably be a few more weeks before I can get to it. But I promise I will get it done as quickly as I can. I know there are a lot of glaring errors and missing bits of info. It's a work in progress, what else can I say.

I plan on simplifying where I can and expanding in areas that are lacking. Sol just reminded me of a few lacking items in the Cleric class. If you need clarification or additional info don't hesitate to ask, either here or via PM. Always happy to talk/assist.

As awlays, thanks for you patience

As long as I can use the errors and missing bits to my advantage, you may leave them. ha!

I can appreciate this. Writing one's one rules set is a very ambitious undertaking! But it can be a lot of fun, too.

Incidentally, just a little bit of liberty taken here, a reference to the original story of the minotaur.

I guess it could go either way, this is the racial description Antman gave the bovine humanoids. and as a player I'm glad Zirus finally took the bait that I've been setting in since we left Dragons belch, as Seeker though he is asking too many questions!
Minotaurs are unnatural descendants of ogres. Enslaved by men the ogres, descendants of irda, were tortured and warped by dark magic. Today minotaurs have their freedom, for the most part, and live in small isolated groups throughout the world. They range in height form 7’ to 9’ tall. Their humanoid bodies are covered by fur ranging from reddish-brown to black in color. They have cloven hooves for feet and two horns that emerge from the edges of their foreheads, which grow from 6” to 2’ in length. Most minotaurs are brutishly ugly, by human standards. Humans often liken them to cows, but it would be unwise to call one such. It was once thought that the minotaurs would die off shortly after they escaped captivity. Humans were too ignorant of their ways, assuming them to be ignorant creatures and incapable of love, to realize the minotaur consider family to be the foundation of society. Humans only see them as hulking brutes full of anger. Minotaur hold a special anger for humans, especially human sorcerers. Their anger toward Humans doesn’t extend to all Humans though. They have come to realize that all races possess evil hateful individuals. Their race has come a long way. In the right circumstances, minotaurs often create long lasting bonds with individuals of other races, and occasionally Humans, though they always reserve a special wariness for the later.

Our definitions of "stephberg's benefit" often vary greatly, should I be worried?

Not unless your just itching to play something specific.

Crow and Zee actually came from an adventure that began prior me opening Dragon's Belch here on the US. I had a private PHP forum on a friends server that stephberg and MonkeyWrench were playing in. Same campaign world actually. I'm incorporating the backstory here as one of my plot threads.

Everyone is welcome to play a second character anytime they want. I adjust the level of difficulty and plot threads as we move forward.

Thanks for asking GreyWolf :)

Everyone in the Eddistone Point adventure thread should eyeball the "Spoils of War" thread for items that have ???'s next to them. There are several headers to look for:

TREASURE
&
ITEMS in Storage (to sell)

Any items with question marks in the TREASURE section I will place in storage in your new domicile, should you choose to live there.

Items in the Storage area I have set to be sold thus giving you coin. If there is something in this area you want, post it here and I will leave it in the Items in Storage section.

I will modify the sections after I hear from everyone.

Thanks

I'd be willing to play a 2nd kinda had thought of that when I made Gorthak to have a little sidekick or something but Gort was made and fits that role well ;)

Gort's not too bright, but if nothing else he's loyal and willing to take a bullet as needed. I'm wondering how the minotaur and savage are going to be received in the big city...

I'm sure they have a bridge we can guard asking odd questions and what not throwing folks into the gorge of eternal peril and what not or a labyrinth we can roam. ;)

Not sure exactly how Zirus is bound and who, if anyone, is holding the rope. Especially wondering if he can move of his own accord.

Let's say Delea removed your bonds when she told you she would come back for you, right before she went into the tower. You would be on a dead end street at Netheril's tower and it was late at night, dark and stormy, so Zirus should be safe.
