The owlbear misses with the claw attack. But manages to score a bite on Brother Wilken for 5 damage. The beak is quite lethal or so Bro. Wilken has just discovered.
Owlbear attacks Bro. Wilken [1d20] = 2 [1d6] = 3 [1d20] = 13 [1d6] = 5

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Synopsis the owlbear harms only Brother Wilken. but in turn takes a few hits from the others in the group. It is still alive and fighting. Brother Wilken is still alive and defending/fighting for his life.
Rethor is calming the mule and horse as well as watching the road.
I'll tally the total hits the owlbear has taken. PC's get this round for init so players attack first.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
The party manages to kill the owlbear far too many good hits and crits to even give this beast a fighting chance. it tries to fight back in it's death throws but fails to connect and is overcome by the party the beast dead now by the feet of Brother Wilken and those that fought the thing with melee weapons. Nothing more the early morning is silent again.

Arastor looks suspiciously between the carcass of the owlbear and Krakus. "I very much doubt a creature of magical creature such as that monstrosity will prove a safe choice of sustenance."

Canis(Crow) begins attempting to retrieve his arrows, shrugging at the conversation pointed towards Krakus, "Probably tastes better than Gnoll..."

Brother Wilken - HalfOrc Cleric (AC 2. HP 17/22)
"The Gnoll was delicious.
Never had owlbear, but bears in general are a tricky meat ... all depends on what he's been eating.
Taste sort of lingers in the fat."
Wilken surveys the puncture marks in his armor and frowns ... "Gotta fix that."
He removes his armor and applies some of the herbs collected at the previous battle to attempt first aid on the fresh wound.
Healing/Herbalism skill: (roll 14 or less) [1d20] = 4
[I think that heals something, but can't remember how much.]

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Krakus- No, I not be eating it. I figured since the Orc ate the gnoll he may find the Owlbear more tasty. Krakus laughs. I will stick to my rations.
