Which door do you mean—the door at the opposite end of the 10x10 room at the north end of the hall of pillars, or the door next to the door that led you in a circle?GreyWolfVT wrote:Odilo "Lets check the door on the other end of this room. I believe it is the only one we never checked earlier."

"certainly going back to the throne room is out. That door beyond is protected by the ghosts wielding the swords on the wall. remember what happened to the summoned hobgoblins. So press on through this door and not round again hopefully."McCloud advises.

Re: Ch. 6: One More Time Around
OOC: I think everything in the pillared room is a trap. The hallway past the efreet room is where we need to be.
Re: Ch. 6: One More Time Around
"the door beyond the pillar room is guarded by some ghosts or creatures that attacked the hobgoblins and cut them down easily. We can try that room last. The other door we are trying now is the one next to the door we barged through in the corridor. Failing anything coming from that we can fiddle about with the keyhole in the depressed floor and if we get hungry eat the dwarf" McCloud salivates at the prospect of further adventure...

HOBBOGOBBLES? Urdak snorts. Where? WHERE??

Agreed - I think. How many doors lead from the pillared room tho. - think Zhym
Is indicating there was 3 and we've only explored 2 but I could be wrong.
Re: Ch. 6: One More Time Around
we found the mummy and gem in the eastern one and the swords on the wall in the middle one, think the other just had multi-colours shining on it but no one stepped through?
Re: Ch. 6: One More Time Around
There are four doors in the pillared room, plus the tunnel under the throne. One of those doors is in the west wall. You used that door to enter the room the first time. There are three doors in the north wall. The doors to the east and west led to 10x10 rooms. The westernmost was empty. The easternmost had the mummy. The door in the center of the north wall also led to a 10x10 room, but this one had the swords and shields in it, with a door on the opposite wall.

Odilo "Since we already figure everything in this room is a trap I"ll just follow wherever you all decide to go. The other doors in this pillared room I can use my unseen servant for once we can spend the time for me to restudy my spells."

Odilo "As you wish." his pigeon coos a little from the robe pocket and then comes flying out perching on the mages shoulder. The mage takes a small amount of bread crumbles it and hols his hand up for the bird to eat. The pigeon eats the mages just follows the others around, clearly bored with this maze of a place.

Re: Ch. 6: One More Time Around
McCloud will venture to the door in the corridor after checking for traps in the floor and the door. He will try and pick any locks and open the door. If it is magically locked then he will give way to hardier party members to try and barge it down as before.
Re: Ch. 6: One More Time Around
McCloud checks the door. It's not locked, but it is stuck. It'll take a d6 roll to try to open it.
We also have a suggestion to try the 10x20 room again, but no stated action.

The Dwarf scratches his beard for a moment as he examines the stubborn door. Nope. Can't go zis way. He stalks off without a backward glance.

Odilo puts the bird down with the bread "Really does the wizard have to show you burly folk how it is done again?" ramming the door as he did earlier. [1d6] = 4 door opening

Re: Ch. 6: One More Time Around
After Odilo and Urdak unsuccessfully try to open the door, Quinn throws his shoulder into it. He forces the door open, falling into a 10x20 room with a door at the south end.

Odilo looks at Urdak "We loosened it up for him." and winks. "I bet it's another door and who knows maybe a spear will launch off at us." he declares sarcastically whilst rolling his eyes and waving his hands like a madman on his soapbox proclaiming the end of the world is near.
