I'm pretty sure that's a line in one of the Lug songs, too.Zorroroaster wrote:Lug gets all the girls.

Actually...she is sort of dating my other character. Kennit's about to be hired to take care of Bertram's competition. Things are beginning to get awkward.Zorroroaster wrote:Lug gets all the girls.

Lug is pretty broad. Bertram needs to work out more.Zorroroaster wrote:Sounds like Bertram needs broader shoulders.

Well, she's half-doing this to impress Bertram, so (while Lug is charming) it's not as complex as it initially seems.

On the morning of April the 18th, Orrin picks up his new splint mail and longsword at the smithy, and then quicky goes to the provisioner before meeting Rhodri's party at the city gate.

Before his expedition leaves, Lug will drop by the temple to see if any of the priests recognize the stuff in the tub of goop he has.
ETA: He also buys a pole arm for 8.4 gp, in case he needs to attack from the second row.

Re: Town Business (Vaul) - II
They would need quite a while to definitively identify it, but it doesn't hear the obvious hallmarks of something common and divinely-oriented like a healing salve, for example.
Re: Town Business (Vaul) - II
That it's not a healing salve is useful information alone. At least this way Lug won't try rubbing it on a wound.

Before leaving for the Finger, Numen will attempt to lighten his load by selling off his longsword, having the black blade Hope and a dwarf-made shortsword at the ready, and a shortbow besides.
Re: Town Business (Vaul) - II
Since Numen keeps getting knocked out of battle early, the sword is in good shape. Half book cost is refunded.

April 18th morning
Bertram visits the temple, seeking head priest Gronn. He barely misses meeting up with Adrienne the lame, as she prepares to leave on an expedition, herself.
"Father Gronn, I have a boon to ask of you. On our last excursion, we were beset by undead. They killed two of our number, including the priest of Veles, Crivit. I was hoping that could sell us some holy water to help in our battle against the undead."
