[Round 6]
Brother Wilken - HalfOrc Cleric (AC 2. HP 16/22) drags Gnoll 9 away from the fighting and towards the cart.
[to Pheras] "Oooh, are we in for a treat!
Wilken fetches a rope from the cart, strips the clothing and armor from Gnoll 9, and hangs him inverted from a nearby tree.
He carefully examines the fur for damage and cuts the throat of the gnoll, draining it of blood.
Brother Wilken pauses to say a prayer for it's soul and to give thanks for the Creator's bounty, and then guts and skins the carcass.

Pheras Quell - Elf Wizard - AC 5. HP 8/8
Pheras stands his ground as he sees Brother Wilkin carry the gnoll away, "W-what are you going to do with him", his mind was so occupied with the sounds of the screaming gnoll to do anything else.

Rethor heads back to get his horse by the cart and mule and sees the odd scene with the one gnoll, Pheras and Brother Wilken. Raising one eyebrow "Eh what're you doing there? Why not dispatch the beast so that we can be on our way?"

After seeing Krakus act that way, Pheras wonders if eating monster dogs is normal and that he is the strange one here, "Yeah...i-it tastes better that way", he smiled awkwardly to try and hide the fact of his confusion.

Clearly worn out, Mathias swings again, but alas, he swings wide.

Arastor draws his bow string back and aims at Gnoll #9 but drops his bow as Brother Wilken grabs the creature and carries it off to the treeline. Arastor stands there dumpfounded by the event.

"Of course. As you wish."
... always happy to oblige those in positions of authority, Brother Wilken quickly dispatches the struggling creature with a knife across the throat and the skill of one accustomed to dressing his game in the field.
Of course, he still pauses to pray for its soul and give thanks ... as he had originally planned before being interrupted.
Brother Wilken finds himself whistling a jaunty tune as he removes the skin and selects about 10 lbs of the finest cuts for dinner.
"What to serve with it." he ponders as he works.

Krakus- Walks up to Pheras whispers in his ear aye don't worry about the 1/2 orc they have strange tastes. We will not be eating dinner with him. I was just playing with your mind. The paladin would not let that happen anyways. He pats the elf on the back and laughs.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
The battle ends the party easily overcomes the last two living gnolls. The third is killed and gutted like a hunters prey for apparent consumption by the party. The party gathers up after the battle no more gnolls appear to be headed this way at the moment you have a bit of a reprieve. Rethor looks at the gutted and skinned gnoll "You're not really going to eat that are you?" he asks with a bit of disgust in his words.

"Not all of it.
You seem to be in far too great a hurry to properly harvest and save more than a single meal worth.
Of course I see no reason to choke down some hard tack and dried meat this evening when the Creator has so generously provided such a feast of delicious fresh meat waiting to be savored."
Wilken places the fresh meat into a large pot and covers it in some Imperial Stout to marinate.

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Rethor just gets back on his horse and moves ahead away from the gnoll harvesting. "Alright well do as you wish I'll go be a lookout in case more of the dogs arrive."

Re: Part 2: The Roads ahead
Canis(Crow) turns around to the conversation, tilting his head slightly in confusion, "Fresh meat?" he shudders a bit at the tainted Gnoll bodies and decides his own rations will suffice for him.
