Re: OOC
Psh his bird will talk to him and he'll feel better in the morning unless a lizardman tries to eat him.

Oh - I see. Looks like I got ahead of myself by posting Round 2 actions before the Round 1 Summary. When I saw the Gnolls' actions I imagined that this was the conclusion of Round 1. Sorry - my bad. : Z

Re: OOC
That was actually my fault, I used the wrong template to post the Gnoll actions.
Sorry for confusing everyone. That's what happens when you're in a rush I guess.
My bad!

Re: OOC
OK, quick question, Antman. In your "Round 2" post you showed:
Zirus: 6 hp
Caiden: 3 hp
Now, I knocked Zirus's total down by 6 already (considering the temp hit points he had from before plus those given him by the druid, this leaves him with 9). But I noticed this is the 3rd time you mentioned it. Is the 6 you are showing the total lost by me so far... or am I losing 6 every round?
I guess it would be important for me to know that! Just checking. : )

Re: OOC
By the way, Gort, good move joining in to help Gorthak hold onto Zirus. I got quite the roll and I have a feeling your assist will be needed. Antman will probably comment as to whether Gorthak gets a bonus to his roll for your assist or else maybe I have to beat both your rolls or some such. Should be interesting. ; )
Incidentally, I won't be making a sanity check against Gort (human). The system for Zirus's madness was a different system when we first met, revised later by Antman and myself to better match this campaign world. So I am assuming that anyone Zirus met before Caiden he has already become accustomed to and so will not try to eat.

Antman,
Oh - well, yes then, I see my math is a bit off. Adjusting HP down to 8 instead of 9.
Oh, I take that back: 13 - 6 = 7 +2 = 9:

The Orcs burned out spellbooks so I have been unable to memorize any healing spells. I do however have a healing salve that may help with the infection." Cullivan pulls a small wood container from his pack and rubs a dark potent smelling salve in the bite wound. It immediately begins to bubble up. A few seconds later the wound has partially healed and looks considerably better, though Zirus still shakes uncontrollably. "Does anyone else have a bite from one of thee creatures?"
Zirus gains 2 hp

Re: OOC
Sol,
Just to be clear, you incurred a total of 6 points of damage (-6) from the ecnounter with the Horrid Gnolls and Cullivan gave you twohit point back form the salve he put on your bite (+2).
Oh and brovo on your Lizardman Human Flesh craving performance...I love it!

Thank you. I think if I do manage to get a bite out of Cullivan maybe I can get another 2 hit points back.Antman9 wrote:Sol,

Re: OOC
Same here!
Having a blast reading how Zirus is wiggling on the ground nipping at the druid as half the group tackles the poor lizard man.
and then 30 feet from them a dwarf and Seeker brandish fisticuffs!
Truly, a formidable and well organized group of adventurers!

Re: OOC
Yeah, Seeker, I think that's hilarious all the crazy chaos going on right now. LOL. Love the way you are playing Seeker. He is growing on me day by day as a character.

Re: OOC
Don't forget your opposed grapple check to see if Zirus actually breaks free. Unless you've decided just to let him go, that is. : )

Re: OOC
Oh - this is what I am referring to. (You have subdued Zirus, but a new roll must be made each round in order to hold him):
Antman9 wrote:Grapple
Grappling is a form of wrestling also known as subduing your opponent. To grapple simply make an apposed offense roll (i.e. each character rolls a 1d20 and adds their DEX & STR modifiers. Success > Opponent’s roll). A successful grapple check subdues the opponent. Failure implies the opponent has broken the grapple attempt. A grapple check must be made each round.
1) d20 Based
2) 1d20 ± Appropriate Attribute Bonus
3) Result > Opponents Roll = Success

Re: OOC
I'll just wait for Antman to tell me what exactly he needs me to roll before i go doing that Sol. Just makes for far less confusion on my end.
