Odilo - Human MU/Mage"Toss it why it is a enchanted rope my friend." Odilo commands the rope of climbing to move to the other side and if there is something for it to wrap around to do so same with the end on his side.

Odilo feeling quite the dolt "Guess we have to hold the rope with one person on both sides of the pit."

I'd forgotten that Quinn flew across the pit. He can hold one end of the rope.
Of course, whoever holds the rope on the east side will need a way to cross the pit.
How will people cross the pit? Tightrope walking? Hand-over-hand? There may be dexterity checks involved for the climbers, and strength checks for the rope holders. Fortunately, Quinn and Urdak are both strong.

Let's move the action forward a bit past the gripping pit scene...
The pit contains five spikes. They are widely spaced enough that you are able to carefully lower yourselves into the pit and back out again using Odilo's magic rope.
McCloud, wearing the False Acererak's crown, leads the way west, heading for the north corridor. Checking for pit traps on the way, he finds another pit at the intersection. You carefully edge around it toward the north corridor. When you reach the false door, you remember to stand to the side to avoid being hit by a spear. Once through, you crawl again through the tunnel in the floor, to find yourself standing, once again, at the door with three slots in it.
Will you insert swords again? If so, please tell me which ones.
Odilo"Not this again. Well at least you know the swords will be safe."

Are the first three swords not there, did they get swallowed whole or crushed? McCloud has his claymore in his scabberd, slapping against his bony knees as he walks. He watches the others put their blades in the holes, and waits, feeling eyes upon him or rather upon what is slapping his knees he offers up his claymore, "well I'll have nothing more to dance across if this tomb becomes the death of us." he mourns.
"Hmm, we've been here before it seems .... yet we didn't fall in that pit. Yet more foul sorcery from the lich you think? We should be careful returning to those other rooms as they may be slightly different this time too."
Quinn slides his broadsword into the first slot. Urdak uses his broadsword in the second. McCloud, claymore slapping on his knees, looks around at the walls and whistles to himself, then finally sighs, holds his breath, and slides his sword into the final slot.
The door opens as it did before, leaving your swords intact.
Odilo"Eh well back to this place once more. Shall we touch everything thus end this nightmare for all of us or what is the plan here?"

Odilo"But shouldn't we go touch everything in this room and fall to our dooms like a certain someone that could not leave a evil gem alone last time?" the strange mage says remembering his warning the first time and the lack of self control of a prior party member sarcasm dripping from his words along with a bit of mental instability. But Urdak wouldn't do that to me we both have magnificent beards. We're like beard brothers. Come lets get out of this crazy maze of a tomb."
