Scy kicks the bone pieces in a little frustration. "Let's rest in the dark I guess, as I'm not sure we want to camp for hours and burn through our torches... Let's grab some rope and maybe fashion a trip wire down the path a bit to give us some early warning. I can then stand a watch"

Viktor offers to help his childhood friend do so and will also stand stand watch whilst Osric and whomever else needs to rests.

Tub attempts to make a tripwire.

Vik and Tub spend some time setting up some crude traps in the tunnel near the stairwell.

The friends bed down as the torchlight burns out and wait in the dark.

it is a restless time as scratches and squeaks in the dark keep the companions from getting good rest as Osric lays in the back against the wall resting. the blankets do little to warm you in the cold underground.

After what seems like an eternity Osric awakes and refreshes prayers with the thunder god.

"Let's move on. Everyone ready? Let's make sure we have enough light to make it back, eh? Rather be hungry under torchlight than fighting the likes if that ghoul in the dark!"

No guts no glory, Tub shrugs, and no gold he says in a quieter tone.
We can take a peek further in, for a little bit... then run if we need to, then Tub chuckles, who we kiddin', we'll be running eventually, it's just our luck.

Although Viktor really wanted to depart this accursed Deathmonger temple crypt and head back to town to get better reequipped before heading further in, he keeps his mouth shut and decides to go along with the others.

"Let's just be sure ta start heading back when we're down to tha last torch, yeah? I don't fancy being stuck in this place with no light," the young churl-deputy offers as he readies his bow and and an arrow and prepares to move out behind Scythius.
