No worries. I merely went through the exercise to get a snapshot of the group.

I'm really only concerned with the rate of posting once signed up in my game. :D

I was going to mention that some of this is due to DMs. :D

Going to enjoy watching this game!
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Awesome, I would love to play.

And I feel my posting per day stat is off since I usually wait for other players or the Dm to post before I let myself post again.
I do check the forums like a million times a day looking for updates. Fast paced is good for me!

Perfect old school way to do it.
I once made a few players infuriated by making them pass their rolls to the guy on the left. I thought my oldest was gonna disown me. So it really doesnt matter to me either.

That is awesome.

Hmm... how to determine seating order in a play-by-post game? ;)

The forum for the game ('Adventures in Foxmoor') has been created and I have begun to post some of the rules.

Certain key sections (e.g. Classes) are still in progress, but I will continue to work on them and add them once they're completed. Yes, the 'Classes' rules set is probably pretty important and is what I am currently working on. It should be the next rules update... hopefully by tomorrow (Wednesday).

If you've expressed an interest in the game, please take some time to review the posted rules... make sure it's still a game you're interested in participating in. If so, please confirm your interest and I will get you officially added to the game forum so you have 'write' access and can add posts, ask questions, etc....

Speaking of any questions, I would like to keep them all organized into a single post so please post them in the dedicated 'Questions For the DM' thread. If it is a question about a posted rule, feel free to link to that particular rule in your question (but linking is not necessary; or I can always add it later).

Thanks,
- Dave

Good deal. Alethan, onlyme and Stonjuz should have all been added (not as their default group).

Please let me know if you have any problems.

Vargr is not upset, neither does he make any proprietary claims to the forumite known as "Stonjuz". :)

Couldn't care less about upsetting DMs with playing favorites. :)

But it does mess up my name formatting when it takes me out of the default group for being a site moderator. I adjust that so rarely it always takes me a few minutes to figure out where to change it back.

Bah on any pressure I say. I wouldn't have to go very far out on a limb to say I'm sure it will be awesome, Dave. (Your forum looks pretty good, btw! )

The kind words are appreciated. I haven't attempted to DM anything in 20+ years so I'm admitted a little concerned about how it will go. That, coupled with all the changes I am proposing... eeck!

Glad you approve. I was wondering if there was something wrong when my game, less than 24 hours old, already has the second most topics of any game hosted on the website (and that is without any "action" threads). It is what it is, right?

Thanks, again, for the kind words. I guess time will tell.

You post well in the 'Incursion into Newiron' game, so let me put you on the waiting list... for now. I have six players, which is admittedly more than I was hoping to start with, but if I do split the party into two groups (one of 3 and the other of 4) it could work out well.

Consider yourself in... it's just a matter of how soon. The game hasn't even started yet, so it's possible I'll agree to just run two groups from the start, in which case, you're in immediately. In any event, once I get the 'Classes' rules updated, you're welcome to generate a character so you're ready to roll.
