Just checking, but are you going to award magic items? Or need we go looking for Silver?

yes sorry i needed to give items to all of the newbies but I really think most of my original gifted items were not useful seeing as only really one was used effectively the other was just used in a sort of annoying manner the other never used.

you know I will offer this then let the players tell me what they want and i shall consider it so you asking for a +1 two hander war hammer take your war hammer and make it a +1 then Nuke. As for the prior players if you need to trade in your item for something more use full speak up and I shall consider the proposal.

The man takes back the one handed battle axe +1 and pulls up with great effort a 2 handed battle axe +1 "There you are better to defeat your foes my barbarian friend."

"Thank you very much mister oliva- I mean ordinary magic shop keeper. ummm.....what does it do exactly?"

"Shoots magic missiles at your foes when activated. As if you cast the spell your self. It does the equivilant of your level +1 to the normal damage and the same number of missiles for your level +1. Mind you it only has 12 charges so use them wisely."

Since this appears to be another plot expedient, I am a little unsure how the half-orc fits in ... personally, I viewed Brother Wilken as closer to a poor wandering Friar ... weapons are a staff and sling stones ... he can get one anywhere and replace it easily.

Obviously, that creates an issue for hunting werewolves.
Since building a copper still involves soldering the seams with silver, can he just melt down a few silver coins and crudely plate some normal weapon?
Shod the oak staff with silver tips?
What about casting silver sling bullets rather than lead? or silver plating some lead bullets or stones?
Do I need a +1 for this adventure?

(I am not sure how much Brother Wilken even knows about werewolves.)

In reply to the questions about a sling and bullets yes change sling bullets to silver and we can make them +1 if need be. As for how much anyone of your characters knows about werewolves mostly just legend about silver and all that. Nobody really knows how to kill one.
