Re: OCC Thread
No, it doesn't imply initiative. Folks seem to have missed the bit about it working in rounds but no problem.
We will do it like this: It would take Stonjuz 3 rounds to leave the lake, as a rope was thrown at him he grabs it and gets taken out in the 2nd round. So only two CON checks are required.
I'll make a post on the action thread.

No. But how is he fishing? By harpooning? If so it will take some time until he gets enough catch to provide a meal for everyone.

Re: OCC Thread
The original plan was either spearfishing or using the bow, but it seems that our new dwarf companion just volunteered to lend his net.

That settles it then. With them fish + a net you will have a sweet water meal for all in no time.

Re: OCC Thread
Some folks are missing their Comeliness from their character sheets. That stat is necessary to calculate some Derived Rolls (suck as Luck). Just place the value on the "Description" entry where it may be easily accessed.

Re: OCC Thread
The current action thread description is a little puzzling. Not sure what vargr is asking us for.
One choice is obvious, The southern apex 3 miles away could be explored and Stonjuz would recommend that be done, because it at least should be an advantagous observation point,
if there is no pass there it could be a 6 mile (3 there and 3 back) march for naught but ...
but did I miss something? What are the other possible routes to take without getting wet again?

If I understand correctly we can follow the mountainside south and see if there is a passage there or move east on the open valley. I agree with you, I think we will also be more exposed going west from here.

I am voting east. I would rather not have to climb or go into mountains. Also maybe we should take another look at that note we found.

Gents, I am out of the country until next Sunday. I assumed my connectivity would not be affected but, alas, no free wifi in my room and the schedule might be a bit chaotic through the week.
Thus my posting rate will be decreased, Vargr whenever you want to move things forward and I have not made a timely posting just take your call on what you think Ogirdor's actions would be.

Re: OCC Thread
Orgidor has spotted the elf when the bat swooped down to bite him. Eyeballing it he would say the battling duo is some 150ft away from him. The rest of the party is lagging behind the ranger at the usual distance and they know the big bat went down to attack something.
Re: OCC Thread
No, Stonjuz did not cast detect magic on the shield.....but he sure wanted too....eyeballing it like Gollum and the Prescious. But was waiting word or orders to do so....

Yes, see my post on the first page of this thread and subsequent discussions.Ra the monk wrote: Just by the by did we ever divvy up that gold we found?
Later I wrote the following and updated Ogirdor's belongings.
I would suggest us to split any money we find as that is easy to do on the spot and distribute items in the way seems more logical unless someone wants to call dibs on specific objects we come across. Once (and if) we reach civilization we can appraise the value of the stuff just to make sure no one is ripped off. Does that make sense to you guys?zebediah wrote:I have just updated my character sheet with the items below.

- A wine-skin, whole and full of what sadly proves to be spoiled wine - Ogirdor is taking the skin with the wine in it, even if spoiled, as it might still be useful and we can always empty it later.
- A vial of holy water
- A quiver holding 11 arrows, six of these have silvered heads - Ogirdor picked 2 silver arrows and replaced those with 2 of his flight arrows for the others to share as suggested earlier.
- A leathery bag containing 50 gold pieces! - Ogirdor picked 12 gp and changed a coin to pick also 5 sp
Btw, my internet is working! I hope it lasts...
