I assumed, when Sylvan gave Sparrow the 100 gold pieces, he would have subtracted that amount from his character sheet and you would have added it to yours. Now that you're exchanging money again, I just want to make sure the accounting is kept up.OGRE MAGE wrote:By adjusting sheets do you mean the 10 gold? Or did I miss something along the way.

Really, it's your world.
For those that do remain, there is more official festival business later in the day, but for now - between lunch, which you just ate, and the next festival activity later in the day - you're free to do whatever you'd like.
It is worth mentioning, though, that the town is basically shut down. There won't really be opportunities to shop (except with street vendors), and local townspeople, by and large, will be found out and about.
Feel free to ask questions or do whatever, but I just wanted to clarify the situation.
I should add, no one is obligated to participat in anything; all the games are strictly in place for a little fun if you're interested. Further, no one is even required to stick around Sandpoint of they don't want.dmw71 wrote:Feel free stay together or split up. Whatever you'd like to do. Please detail what your character plans to do here in the public forum, and we can resolve here in the public forum or in your private forum, as appropriate.

Re: OOC I
I hope to be able to update everyone tonight. I probably should have thought up the mechanics in order to resolve the games before I listed them as options, eh?
The games that characters have selected have been worked out, and can work on the other games later.

You better hope Sylvan can even pick the thing up. How does that sound?AleBelly wrote:I can help with the spear toss. How about Sylvan wins the spear toss, and the prize is a spear +[1d20]? Sounds like a good way to go...

Re: OOC I
Just a notice that, with the weekend coming up now, and a major US holiday next week, game updates may be a bit sporadic.
Also, a question:
Regarding the games at the Swallowtail Festival. I'm thinking I will let them play out like we have been through the weekend, but may advance the game to the next planned festival event early next week. I would be totally fine if, even if the main game moves forward, if players want to continue to keep playing games on the side in their private forums. I just don't want to tie the entire game up if not everyone is actively participating in this side events.
Does anyone have a problem with this?

For those that celebrate it, Merry Christmas!
I have most of the updates for the active side games completed, and will finish the rest tomorrow. I hope to also have a public update for the first round of combat posted tomorrow as well.

Re: OOC I
Happy Christmas, everyone! I hope everyone's been having a good season of holidays.
I managed to land a nice haul from the War House (the modern incarnation of the old Balboa Games company) during our visit to southern CA. Whenever we manage to make it home for the holidays my wife's traditional gift is to let me ransack the War House for old books and miniatures, and we always come away with a few great finds: this time included the usual small hoard of Judges Guild books, some accessories for SPI's Universe, and several RPGs and adventures from Fantasy Games Unlimited, all in mint condition and still in the packaging. I was also happy to see how much our copies of the original Arms Law and the Complete Warlock books have appreciated in collectibility since the last trip to the War House: I bought each of those only a couple of years ago for $5-10 apiece, and now they're asking $50-100!

This, unfortunately, will not be resolved tonight, but sometime this weekend.dmw71 wrote:I hope to also have a public update for the first round of combat posted tomorrow as well.

Re: OOC I
Is this due to weapon specialization? If so, he doesn't begin specialized, but merely declares his intent to become specialized.hedgeknight wrote:He would get a second attack this round...

Good to know, I misread that.
So...for the record, Festus is declaring his intent to become specialized in the battle axe.
