Round One Summary:

Enemy Initiative [1d6] = 6

The goblins rush straight into melee combat with Valorei and The Wendall, two on Wendall and one on Valorei.

Goblin save [1d20] = 20

The one targeted by Varcand's spell spits at the wizard and proclaims loudly, in goblin, while pointing his spear in his general direction,"We'll be taking you prisoner to torture you before we slit your throat, you lying little weasel!"

Harold's sling stone shuts him up quickly, striking him on the jaw and laying him completely out on the ground, while Varas's arrow flies well wide of the scampering goblins.

Goblin 1: 7hp
Goblin 3: 2hp

The goblins are looking shaken by the shouting one being knocked out in one hit, and seem likely to attempt flight.

Actions and Initiative!

Harold looses another sling bullet at the wimpier-looking goblin, if he can get a clear shot in.

Sling (THAC0 20): [1d20] = 3, Dmg: [1d4] = 4

Valorei meets the goblin, instead of running straight to the goblin however he runs diagonal, keeping out of the range of the goblin's short sword as he thrusts his spear towards the goblins throat. He calls out in Hobgoblin,
"You should surrender now! Drop your weapons and we shall spare your lives!"
Spear: [1d20] = 13, Damage:[1d6] = 2

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~EDIT~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Forgot about the strength modifiers when I made the macro, to hit should be 14 and damage should be 3. Macro has been fixed.
Wendall will try to avoid melee combat if he can. He throws a dart at any goblin that is in his range.
Thrown Dart/Dagger [1d20 +2] = 17+2 = 19 Damage [1d4] = 3
Varcand frowns. "That should have worked..."
He will then draw his dagger and attempt to stab a goblin with it.
Dagger stab! [1d20-1] = 11-1 = 10, damage: [1d4-1] = 3-1 = 2
Olympia rushes towards the goblins with her warhammer raised at chest-height.
Will she reach the gobs this round? If so, she'll swing her hammer at the nearest melee-ing goblin.
If they don't win initiative, yes. Otherwise, if they flee top speed, Wendall and Valorei will have a chance to attack them as they break but otherwise only missile attacks will reach.
Varas curses as his arrow flies wide.
He will allow the goblins to retreat then fire his bow at them as they do so.
If they do not flee, he attacks with his sword.
Initiative [1d6] = 5
Dorvar will finally act (I thought I told you guys, no combat while I'm at work. :D ), firing his crossbow at one of the goblins.
Round Two Summary:
Enemy Initiative [1d6] = 3
The adventurers get initiative, so Varas drops his bow and rushes into melee with the goblins, but unfortunately trips on a stone and goes sprawling to the ground, his sword flying from his hand.
Olympia charges in, warhammer swinging, and lays out the goblin attacking The Wendall, who had just fudged his dart attack, realizing he was stuck in melee combat with the goblin, and driving the dart overhand into the creature's shoulder.
Valorei grazes his goblin opponent a bit in the side with his spear as he cries out in some foul tongue that none of the others recognize, a battle-cry or dark benediction...it is unclear which.
EDIT: Harold holds off attacking. There are no non-engaged goblins to target until he misses his chance for the round.
The last remaining goblin breaks and flees, allowing Valorei the opportunity to make an attack with his spear before it leaves melee range. Dorvar strikes it as it turns in the body with a crossbow bolt that looks to have only narrowly missed the creature's heart.
That finishes off the goblins--and just leaves the one sleeping dude and three wolves nearby...
Valorei will stride over to the sleeping goblin and wolves, using his spear and quickly stabbing each one through the throat and heart. He will look at the rest of the group, "What fascinating creatures, it would seem that while raising and taming large wolves they are also known to burn their dead, as other more civilized cultures tend to do. It was speculated that they ate their dead, this truly is a fascinating find." Valorei takes out some parchment from his pack and begins scribbling down notes.
March 21, 1 VC - 12:10pm
Valorei, if he is interested in examination and not just expostulation, discovers that it is clear that the goblins were planning to eat their compatriots. All of the corpses have been stripped, and the firepit in which the unconscious goblin is sprawled is clearly a cooking fire and not a cremation fire.
