Hey, come to think of it: why is The Wendall getting an equal share when it's his tower we all risked our lives to secure? Shouldn't he be paying us? :D

This was my point! If there's no arguing about loot, either you guys are too nice or I'm giving out too much. And I refuse to accept the possibility of the latter...

Nope. Definitely not too much loot. :D

I think I'd just forgotten the purpose of the mission when I proposed the split. Won't happen again.

We're going to hit 30 PCs within the next couple of days--wow! As I consider that number, I've decided to cap the game at 35 active PCs until I get a sense on whether that is a sustainable number for me or whether I need to trim back (or am comfortable enough to handle more).

Just FYI, if anyone has been considering bringing another character in. So you'd know the door is likely to close for a while within a week or two.

Keehnelf, your sandbox is more addictive than cigarettes. I was planning a forth character but I've changed my mind after reading this. This game is too good to only play one character. ;)

I am loving this so far > it's a fantastic addiction! Wish I had more time to be on the boards...but unfortunately, I DO have a job!

But unlike others, one character is enough for me > of course, if she ends up in a lizardman's belly, I can always roll up another one. ;)

I'm in that same boat. One stout dwarf is enough for adventuring fodder. If he goes down, he's going down swinging... and there'll be a replacement for him in short order.

OK, effective immediately I'm making a change to the Tavern thread.

Namely:

Any PC currently in town can engage in any of the conversations happening in the tavern at that (real life) time, no matter what their time stamp. It might create incongruities, but it will facilitate some information sharing when multiple parties have ended journeys near one another but their time stamps are off, and it'll reduce some confusion about cross-talk.

So go ahead and chat away. Remember that your time stamp still determines actual business you can do, i.e. going on expeditions, trading, contracting with folks, etc. But at least we can make the conversations a bit easier.

I've already had one impossible cross-time conversation (with Olympia). I heartily approve of dimensionally unstable time taverns.

Sounds good to me! So we'll still use time stamps in the town thread, etc?

Yeah, me too :) I wish I had remembered earlier that it was happening at almost 3am so it could have been a bit goofier and/or more dramatic!
