This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Nope thought it was funny... even if there were mechanical effects, roll of 3 is pitiful.

Good stuff, gotta say I'm having lots of fun.

Just to make sure I get the right picture: it's just Ankhar and Kraden currently on melee with the fighter, right?

Argenian, what do you think about trying to overbear that guy? Both our characters are big, tking the bad rolls aside I think we would stand a fair chance...

Yeah, I had actually thought of doing so when Kraden almost got his sword arm cut off! As Solinor stated, our only saving grace is that the baddies are wiffing out as much as we are. If we can't drop this bloke soon, then by the gods we'll definitely have to try a team dog-pile! ;)

Crap... so we need to go all the way back to town, or the massive zapping of cure lights and some rest will do the Ranger okay? (he asks hopefully...)

You could always put the ranger down.

Kraden is out of commission for awhile and will need some bady sitting.

Ankhar has spent all the healing he had, if I'm not mistaken. Chasing the warrior now may be a little too risky.

If you guys are unwilling to go all the way back we can try to find a hiding place outside that can be easily defended and where we can keep an eye on things from a distance, UNLESS Kraden's condition force us to take him back to town.

Was Kraden brought below 0 hp in that it will require a week to recover?

Our options aren't great.

Going back to town may not be a good idea, unless we can bypass town and hole up with the hermit. The folks in town who are 'infected' or whatever may not be real happy to see us after this little encounter. That and who knows what whoever is left here will have prepared for us when we return. On the other hand, we could possibly get more supplies (oil  ).

Camping out in the swamp is just asking for trouble, with little cover I'd expect.

We could try to hole up in the dormitory. If the trogs, fighter and cleric were the ones that the others summoned, perhaps we'd have a little breather to recover spells before anyone else showed up. I believe we could get our spells back within about 4 to 5 hours. Anyone have door spikes?

I suppose the safest option in the short term is to return to the hermit's house. It might be worth some quick exploration before we left. Check out a few of the nearby doors.

Bah, just throw the ranger in some bushes near the trail and go make a pin cushion out of that armored bloke!! ;)
