[Esilia Willow – Pixie Sorceress 1] (HP: 14/14) (AC: 10/fly 14)
Action: Frustrated Pixie Princess
Esilia stands quiet during the events that take place before her, intently observing the scene playing out on the natural stage below, listening to each and every word and opinion voiced. When it is all said and done her eyes glaze over as a steady stream of tears roll down her cheeks. "How can this be the world I live in?" she asks quietly to no one in particular. "We have to find Delea at once!" she annonces with determination and storms down the metal ladders as quickly as she can, determined to fill her stomach and finish this night so that she may find her mistress as soon as possible.

Gort
Gort flashes a rare smile at Gorthak, and then heads below with the knight to eat. At dinner, he waits till an opportune moment and says to Gavin "When Gort run from Goblins who hurt him, he set traps for animals too big to get with spear. Maybe Gort set big trap for big baddies who come to town. You ever shoot or hurt big ones? Do they bleed?" Gort pounds his fist on the table and says "You can use Gort to make bad things come close, then bash em' with something. Gort want to hurt big things, make village come back. You let Gort at big uglies, I make em' pay." Gort stuffs a huge bite into his mouth, munching and nodding, his thoughts drifting to the earlier sights outside.

Re: Eddistone Point
Summary
The party members eat their evening meal in silence, contemplating the events that have transpired so far. Clearly there is something foul afoot in these lands. Gavin excuses himself early and retires to his room.
The next morning Gavin addresses the party with a solemn demeaner. “I would like to accompany you to the lighthouse, but I have business that must be attended to. The Keep of Old is some 15 to 20 miles west of here. The townsfolk are there now. I must see to their needs and call on Netheril. Perhaps he will have insight into these strange creatures. I fear it is the work of the Elemental Temple. When you come back this way, and I hope that you do, William and Mich will be here protecting to my son. They will ensure you have meal and board. If I am not here upon your return, and something should accost this dwelling, There are scorpions (small catapult-type weapon) with plenty of bolts, as well as a lions share of oil, in the stores to assist you. William and Mich will assist as they can. I hope you find this Delea safe and unharmed. Be sure you have secured a roof well before nightfall. Those creatures affected by the black cloud are most active after the sun sets.” With these final words he leaves the tower and his son closes the gate behind him.

Re: Eddistone Point
Gorthak "Very well Gavin. I have no problem having you along for part of the journey. Perhaps you can teach me a thing or two about being a knight along the way. I do plan on returning here after we have completed our task." he looks to the others "I suggest we eat and prepare to move as soon as we can the sooner we are out of here in the daylight the safer I'd imagine our travel until closer to nightfall." and he sets to gathering up his gear for the continued journey. "Esilia I assume you are to continue as our guide?"

Action: Silently scheming
Jyrbian stands near the entrance, already having his gear packed and waiting there before anyone. He has yet to say a word since last night, his face still displaying a smirk as he seems to be thinking about something while he waits for the others.

Buckey never unpacked, so he's ready to go with just a quick wipe of his bald-ish head against a fur rug or expensive tapestry to get off the night-sweats.

Gorthak
gathers up with the others and awaits Gavin. While waiting patiently he starts to think of the odd man back at the elf hovel "Hmm I wonder if we shall see that strange man with the vulture for a pet again." thinking out loud then shrugging his shoulders after completing the thought out loud.

Gort - Crazy Savage Guy
Gort grabs his bag, spear and rope and heads over to where Gorthak stands. He nods at the tall knight and gruffly barks "Gort ready to go." He stands waiting for the gaggle to move out.

Elktran - Dark Elf Psion - Lv 0 {Hp: 10/10} {Ac: 9} {Psp's: (16)/14}
Action: Wakes in the morning with an hour to spare in order to Harness Subconscious. He then packs his things and joins the party.
After awaking early in the morning and doing a meditation practice, Elktran packs his bag and walks to the gate to meet his comrades. He's quiet this morning, his mind still sort of focused elsewhere.

Re: Eddistone Point
Devin sees the party out of the tower and wishes them well. The gate closes promptly, leaving them alone once again. Esilia heads to the crossroads at the center of town then turns north. The group is just leaving town when a mighty rumble is heard off in the distance to the north. A great crashing of stone and rock echoes across the prairie and a minute later the ground begins to shake, the vibrations rumbling up legs and into torsos. A large plume of dust can be seen rising into the sky above the mountains to the north. A moment later the vibrations subside and the dust cloud fades into the towering mountains.
The road turns to the northeast just outside of town. Judging by the map your journey to the lighthouse should be roughly 40 – 50 miles along this road, if it is accurate. You cannot be sure as the map clearly shows trees, even though there are none to be seen. Though thus far Dragons Belch, Hommlet, and several other points of interest have been fairly accurate.
At about the 12 mile mark, some 6 hours into your journey, the ruins of an old keep come into view, about a half mile to the left side of the road; as shown on the map.
It is early in the day and the sun is still crawling up the edge of the horizon.
Calendar Day:
3:00 pm
the 9th day before the Kalends of Iunius
dies comitalis

Gort - Savage 0 lv (HP: 10/10; AC 11)
Action: Observing surroundings
Gort scowls at the ruins. He points with stabbing gestures at the place, mentioning to Gorthak "Dis place messy. Even Gort keep hut cleaner than dis. Bad guys probably not like mess either, leave place alone."
He shakes his head and crouches low, focusing on scanning for any critters or hiding ruffians. Question: has this place been ruined for a long time, or more recently? Any signs of traffic?
(int check just in case) Difficulty Check Int (10) [3d6-1] = 16-1 = 15

Gorthak once again uses his sense of smell being that it is far superior to most of the currently party members sense of smell. Smells the air and looks around at the place. "Hmm what do you know of this place Devin?"

The Dark Elf nods his head in agreement. "I agree, Gorthak. I don't feel safe doing that, and besides the fact this is precariously placed on the side of the road, I'm sure we are not the first to think of looking within."
