OOC Discussion
Re: OOC Discussion
As I told Computer +1 in PM, Tumbler actually made his save with the +5 dwarf constitution bonus.
That just leaves Agrippo, who has the Scarab of Protection. If Agrippo fails his save, the Scarab will save him but be destroyed (which I think makes more sense than the Scarab losing only one "charge" when it blocks death magic).

FWIW: You have done some damage to the banshee. Agrippo did so last round. It's just very hard to hit.GreyWolfVT wrote:Fendt unfortunately I don't see how we can harm this. attempts to flee from the castle.
And it's immune to the effects of a Shocking Grasp spell.

Re: OOC Discussion
yeah but unfortunately it's all I had. I doubt my magic mace is going to do much. But if you want me to edit then I will attempt to.

Re: OOC Discussion
So far, the only things you've seen damage this thing are magical weapons.
Granted, Fendt doesn't have a great THAC0, so it's not likely he'd hit—but hey, maybe you'd get a lucky roll.

Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.

Oh, come on. Vorkath would make a great undead.GreyWolfVT wrote:Fendt "I agree Robert. I think we need more than we have here. But I don't wish to leave our dead just laying here for Strahd to turn against us."
What kind of undead uses fire?

BTW, Grognardsw is swamped with other games at the moment, so he's out of the game for a while. He might come back in the winter. FYI, just in case that bit of meta-info affects your plans.

Re: OOC Discussion
I think the wise and powerful DM is trying to suggest that we do NOT go back to town, but then again.......I am unconscious.

Re: OOC Discussion
I am doing nothing of the sort.
I let you know about Grognardsw's status so you'd know that the decision whether or not to go back to town should have nothing to do with whether you expect to find more adventurers there. It might still be a good idea if you think you can't rest in the castle safely, for example. On the other hand, it may not be easy to get out of the castle and back to town safely, either.

Re: OOC Discussion
Oh, ok.
I will shut up and be unconscious then.

Re: OOC Discussion
Also: just because Grognardsw is out for a while doesn't mean you might not find adventurers in town or locked up in the castle. Depending on how doomed you seem to be, I might open the game up to a new player or add an NPC or two. Or I might not.
In other words, proceed as if you know nothing about what you might find.

Re: OOC Discussion
I still think we are screwed in the castle and we know there are ways in and out that some bumbling townsfolk managed to make it safely in. We need more aid now with our paladin dead.

Re: OOC Discussion
I dont see how we can go back to town if any character actually cares about the kidnapped girl.
Tumbler doesnt care, he would vote to leave this realm in a second if given the chance.

Re: OOC Discussion
This is certainly getting interesting. Half the party insists on leaving, half insists on staying, and Tumbler is about to set fire to a bed (what could be a better tribute to Vorkath than setting a room aflame?).

Re: OOC Discussion
well we can't ever rest some of us will never have spells to use so obviously some of us get that we will never be of use ...... but i do agree that is a fitting tribute to Vorkath.
