Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Feldryk "Ah yes well my associate Pilanor can help you with that. I've had him scout the place for me. I believe we have a map here somewhere of the town we can show you on it." Feldryk goes through one of his desk drawers and produces a map of the town.
Pilanor walks up to the map rolled out now on Feldryk's desk. "I know for a fact he has 2 guard dogs inside on the first level. He has two guards that are also on the ground level. They could be in any one of the rooms, Kitchen, entry room/parlor, Study or dining room." he pauses seeing who is listening "In the upstairs bedroom you might find Galyn and two of his thugs, There is also a cellar in the cellar I have no clue what or whom is there. You can bet in Cannibal is suspecting us of anything he will be there with whomever you had not yet disposed of in his crew." he steps back to his corner leans on the wall.

Feldryk "Ah so you will rid the town of him I thank you greatly." He sits back down looking very happy.
Pilanor still stoic and silently standing in the corner leaned against the wall.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile Canis makes it to the charred remains of what was a stable nobody around at all. The remains of the man are not easily made out and Canis will have a lot of digging through ashes to try and locate the earrings.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Noticing the farmer Canis(Crow) will continue to head for the tavern and stables for the mace and earrings, keeping watch of his surroundings to see if the farmer or anyone else is following him.GreyWolfVT wrote:Canis is greeted by the personal guard of Feldryk the more heavily armed man. He sees the same few folks out in the church but notices a farmer standing off to the side waiting patiently. He does not remember the farmer being here earlier.
If he is being followed his will take a less direct path to his destination, hoping to get a chance to hide in an alley or behind an object to ambush his would-be stalkers. If not then he will simply go to collect the pieces of magical items.

See above post. In addition to what was stated above Canis does not see anyone follow him the farmer just waves stupidly at him as he leaves the church. Him Canis not him the farmer. Canis is left alone and not followed.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Alright well I gave him the situation and he has not replied......
Canis rifles through the ash and wreck of what used to be a stables and eventually finds a charred body and earrings that look as if the fire never touched them. He collects the earrings and returns to the church under watchful eye of the few folk that were in the entry of the church when he left. He returns to the office of Feldryk and informs the others of his progress and how dead the town still remains.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name

The party reunites and heads through town to the house marked on the map. Upon reaching the area near the home of Galyn the party can make out that there are at least 4 men guarding the outside of the home 2 near the front door one patrolling around the building and strangely one near the large tree also marked on the map.
None of the party is quite close enough for the guards to make out but if they do not act soon the guards will eventually spot the party.

Re: Part 1: The Village With No Name
Sorry all, weekends are not good for me and the last post from GW just had me not being followed, was waiting for the scene describing the stables and tavern.
Canis(Crow) readies his bow and speaks in a hushed tone, "I can probably remain unseen if needed. Let us get somewhere in cover, and decide our targets. The plan to take them out hopefully at the same time is a good one."

I'm still here as well. I have one Sr. Tech leaving our group this Friday and a new Jr. Tech was hired last week to help out so work has been hectic. On top of that I have been working with J. Nelson over at Adventureaweek.com to learn layout designs to help his company publish their books faster.
Arastor readies his bow as well. Though I know the tricks of hiding and remaining silent in the woods, they are not my strong suit. I certainly will be as stealthy as I can.
