Face of Cowardice, Mark of Courage (Villian arc)
Re: Face of Cowardice, Mark of Courage (Villian arc)
Cracking open the colorful crate, you indeed find a bunch of wrapped candy bars inside, all made and given by Chocolo Maester. There is soemthing about the chocolate that is strangely inviting, the smell almost being irresistable. Some of men that were unloading the crates and other cargo stop when they see the contents of the colorful crate. They stop what they are doing almost immediately and rush over to grab some of the bars, laughing giddy excited laughs. "Ahahahahaa man! I can't believe what we just found! This chocolate is amazing, damn addicting too! In fact, we could sell some of them on streets for a nice chunk of change, yeah? I hear it is better than some of the drugs in circulation right now."
"Yeah, good idea!" chimes in another thug. "That is if you don't eat all of the merchandise first you idiot! Quit cramming your mouth with the stuff already, its sickening."
The warehouse activity dies down shortly afterwards as the desemination of loot is finished and the chocolates are stored away from prying eyes and hands. Before you even realize it, the time reads a little past midnight. A whole day has gone by since you left Symbiosis' HQ and arrived at your own. It doesn't look like anyone followed you back to this place, not even LG, but that doesn't stop Vorpal from feeling uneasy about all of this, his paranoia depriving him of any sleep. "Hey Hot Streak, uhh, I can't seem to sleep. The police, why didn't they arrive yet? I was even expecting a super to show up and try to get back the convoy, but nothing happened. There is something about all of this that ain't right. Everything has been going to smoothly.... I don't like this."

Genocide, after healing and resting, will go out and about. Skulking while camouflaged near the scene of the battle as well as the surround alleys, picking up lone walkers and stragglers to dismember throughout the dark alley ways. He is mostly sight seeing by all this, if he finds Hot streak or Vorpal he may make himself known, depending on what they are doing.
Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.

Hot Streak looks to Vorpal "I have had that same feeling since our brief battle for the truck. I am not willing to accept that it was that easy and that there is nothing coming to try and get that supply truck back. Something is indeed very wrong old friend. I don't trust that candy either I think there is something wrong indeed. Perhaps we will run into LG if he survived that remaining super that he was fighting when we left."

As Vorpal and Hot Streak discuss their sense of unease during the late hours of the night, noise starts to disrupt their silence. Shouts can be heard echoing down the halls, a scream, and some gunfire.

Hot Streak to Vorpal "Grab yer gun and prepare for a fight." hot streak puts back on his pack and rushes to the scene of the noise/gunfire.

Re: Face of Cowardice, Mark of Courage (Villian arc)
Streaking past the hallways connected to the office, you already start to see signs of heavy casualties on your side. Thugs and gang members strewn across the floor in bloody heaps, filled with scorch marks and bullet holes. You also see your fair share of ASF officers and assault troopers laid across the ground in a similiar fashion. Things got ugly fast, and you can still hear the sounds of the fight echo down the hallways an into the main warehouse section.
"Damn it all! They were able to crack our defense so quickly, how!?" Vorpal is very angry right now and equally confused. Surely there should have been some warning before all of this chaos erupted... He quickly shuts himself up though as he enters the underground warehouse. The battle is grand, but his side is losing ground, fast. Vorpal's men are pushed against the walls and are forced to hide behind crates and other objects that provide cover; meanwhile, squad after squad of ASF officers can be seen pushing forward, from the HQ bar entrance. In the corner of the room, next to the looted convoy, you can spot someone not in uniform, but in civilian clothing, talking into a radio.
Vorpal is quick to use his Alien Rocket Launcher to help clear some of the advancing waves of enemies, but there are still many more to contend with, at least anywhere from 20-30 from what you can tell.

Laughing Genocide, smelling of boozes and medical supplies, wakes up from his cramped alleyway sleeping spot and starts to 'play' with the local citizenry. After about a few minutes of this, you see a whole bunch of police vehicles zoom past your location. You are currently hidden and have a few severed arms in your possession, as well as a foot.

As Genocide counts his collection of limbs he see's the flashing lights zooming past him, being interested and loving a good light show he will put his collection in a pile for him to come back to later on. He will use his super speed to following along, making sure to stay out of site and keep a reasonable distance from them. After seeing them stop at their location Genocide will take in the surroundings and make his decision based on what he finds.Rukellian wrote:Laughing Genocide, smelling of boozes and medical supplies, wakes up from his cramped alleyway sleeping spot and starts to 'play' with the local citizenry. Following the group of flashing lights, he is lead to a three way street intersection, with an alleyway sporting a bar directly ahead. All of the vehicles form a semi-circle around the alleyway entrance, and you notice some of the armored vehicles open up, a whole bunch of officers in riot gear marching out. There are lots of them, easily 50+ in number.MonkeyWrench wrote:As Genocide counts his collection of limbs he see's the flashing lights zooming past him, being interested and loving a good light show he will put his collection in a pile for him to come back to later on. Standing out in the open, right in front of the entrance to the office hallway, Hot Streak spots a suspicious looking person amongst the ASF and proceeds to attack. Using his signature, but new and improved fireball attack, he strikes the civilian with firey fury, creating a huge explosion upon impact. Some of the ASF forces are caught in it and perish in flames; however, when the smoke clears, you see the civilian still standing, unphased by the attack. After looking a bit more closely, you notice the flicker of a force field surrounding her, and an intense glare shooting right at you. Turns out the civilian is a super.GreyWolfVT wrote:Hot Streak looks to the civilian on the raido and fires off a giant ball of fire Init[1d100 +6] = 91+6 = 97

Because Hot Streak did not attempt to take cover or use Vorpal as a shield. A few ASF officers were able to take the oppurtunity to fire upon him with their guns. One of them hit Hot Streak for 20 points of damage.

Genocide Cloaks himself and heads down the alley, staying low and carefully heading towards the cars. He watches the group all the while, watching to see if they all rush into the bar or if any stay outside. He will stop, crouched, once he reaches the first cop car.Rukellian wrote: Following the group of flashing lights, he is lead to a three way street intersection, with an alleyway sporting a bar directly ahead. Most of them indeed rush the bar, a few remain outside though, 6 at a rough count. They are all busy interacting with pieces of equipment from control consoles, transmitting and recieving messages.MonkeyWrench wrote:Genocide Cloaks himself and heads down the alley, staying low and carefully heading towards the cars. Genocide will sneak up to them, remaining cloaked. Once he is near them he will use his superspeed to try and take them all out fast enough that no one can raise an alarm or send a message out.
Super Speed 20: [1d100] = 1
Fast Attack 30, Damage 130: Initiative: [1d100+10] = 2+10 = 12, To-Hit: [1d100] = 77, [1d100] = 91, [1d100] = 13
lol oh man those are awful rolls. I'm gonna get stomped by some techies.

Re: Face of Cowardice, Mark of Courage (Villian arc)
The villians peform their attacks, but on different fronts. Hot Streak, after having taken some damage from a rifle, speeds through the ASF officers like a blur, blasting them one by one with his flame attacks. The officers are not able to get a clear shot on him and lose a couple of their numbers to the flames once more. The civilian-looking super remains stationary, keeping swift eye contact on the Hot Streak, waiting for something...
Vorpal uses another rocket launcher blast and decimates another squad of officers. The tide of battle is slowly turning, as the ASF is no longer pushing for an assault, but instead holding their ground. The sword-armed villian remains behind some crates like the rest of his underlings, using the cover to his advantage while the rocket launcher cools down for the next shot.
------
Outside of the bar, Laughing Genocide sneaks up behind 6 ASF techies, hoping to get the drop on them. He superspeeds to one of them, but ends up tripping over his own feet! The sudden stumble creates a bunch of noise as he lands onto some of their equipment. All 6 of the techies now turn their heads to look at LG. Their is an awkward silence in the air as LG looks at them and they look at him, knowing full well whats going on. After about a half a minute of this, all 6 of the techies slam their fists onto a big red button on their consoles. An alarm goes off near one of the vehicles.
The Laughing Genocide tries to salvage the situation by fitting in a few good strikes, but only manages to take two of the techies out. Now 4 stand before him with... shock batons.
A loud groggy voice speaks up in the back, upon hearing the alarm, and shouts to those outside: "What's with all of this racket!? I WAS in the middle of my nap here!"

Hot Streak super speeds out to the ASF enforcers from the opposite side Vorpal and his crew are on blasting them with flames forming a wall of flame that circles their position.
