Fendt "Bring out yer dead." Footman's Mace[1d20+1] = 13+1 = 14 Dmg[1d6+2] = 3+2 = 5
provided there is anything not friendly to attack.

Agrippo will press on with the attack, aiming to decapitate the nearest zombie. "Chuck the remnants into the fire, perhaps that will stop them crawling up my legs" Agrippo will say pointing at the severed limbs.

37130 Damage[1d8+4] = 2+4 = 6
37129 To Hit [1d20+3] = 14+3 = 17

Vorkath, paladin

Vorkath grimaces at these hell spawned zombies, and their wandering body parts, as he parries and hacks with Excommunicator. He considers torching them, but quarters are too close. His holy water supply is to limited. He lunges at another zombie with his sword.

Iluq's face is set and determined but not frustrated. Zombies are something that he is familiar with and knows how to handle. He swings his hammers out with expert skill, aimed at smashing zombies heads.

Iluq, dual +1 hammer attack, THAC0 16: to hit, [1d20] = 20+1, [1d20] = 19+1; damage [1d4] = 3+2 (+1 v. L), [1d4] = 2+2 (+1 v. L)

Best roll I've gotten all game, I hope it keeps up!

Tibbius shows a look of pride on his face as the wand attack doesn't backfire on all of us. Not willing to risk the wrath of the party by trying it again, he follows the instruction of Agrippo and begins flicking the severed body parts into the giant fireplace with his staff
I know I'm new here but these Zombies are clearly not of the normal variety?

The three remaining speedy zombies again take initiative. The disembodied legs and arms, torsos, and the odd intact zombie all attack separately. Most of the kicks and claws are ineffective, but a disembodied arm reaches high into the air and claws at Iluq's throat! With great effort, Iluq rips off the arm and throws it across the room into the fire. The cleric gasps as blood flows from his neck (Iluq: -8 HP!).

Your counterstrikes are devastating. Agrippo slices an attacking disembodied leg at the ankle. Both legs and the torso fall over, lifeless. Iluq, facing the one-armed zombie that had just tried to rip out his throat, smashes the zombie's head between his hammers. That zombie, too, falls to the ground inert. Iluq spins and places a hammer blow in the third zombie's gut. Robert and Vorkath finish that one off. Tibbius flips one of the lifeless limbs into the fireplace.

The three zombies that were slowed by the wand of wonder shamble forward to attack.

You hear Gertruda's voice from behind the spiked doors to her room. "No, really. What's going on? Has the party already started?" she shouts.

Tibbius grows tired of the deadly menial labor quickly and decides to keep his distance from these dangerous living limbs. He casts his Unseen Servant spell and commands the thing to discard the limbs into the fireplace instead. (I changed his spells already but I think he still had that one memorized)

He speaks towards Gertrudas door. No worries my dear! Just rearranging things a little in here. The festivities haven't begun just yet.

Tibbius does still have Unseen Servant memorized. The new spells won't take effect until you've actually had time to rest and study them.

Fendt helps with getting limbs into the fire and again aids where needed. "We've had a momentary set back in here some deadheads tried to crash the party. But worry not we are taking care of it lady."

Footman's Mace[1d20+1] = 8+1 = 9 Dmg[1d6+2] = 3+2 = 5

It's becoming clear that even Strah's souped-up zombies are no match for you.

Agrippo's Sunsword slices a hand off a zombie. The hand crawls slowly towards him. The warrior tries thrusting his sword deep in a zombie's gut, thinking maybe it would keep an attacking appendage from falling off, but the zombie's jaw falls to the floor and starts snapping in his direction.

Vorkath slices the arm off of another zombie, Iluq knocks off a forearm at the elbow, and Tumbler gets in on the action, dealing a blow to a zombie that detaches its...well, all the men grimace. It's disturbing to watch.

The zombies try to counterattack, but in the confusion of attacking zombie parts, two zombies end up attacking each other. It's just the opening Agrippo needs to finish one of them off. After that it's an easy matter to dispose of the two remaining slowed zombies.

Tibbius brings forth an invisible servant and commands it to discard zombie limbs into the fireplace.

Three turned zombies are still loose somewhere in the castle, but zombies aren't exactly bright. They've probably already forgotten you're here.
With the slow effect, the two remaining zombies wouldn't even get an attack next round. There's no need to roll to find how that turns out.

Agrippo will guard the staircase that the zombies turned and fled by whilst the others clean up the mess. "tell the young lady that we are going to play a bit of hide n' seek with Count Strahd before the party begins. So she should find somewhere comfortable to hide like a cupboard and wait until he finds her!"

Agrippo thinks about the next startegy for a moment, happy with group concensus he will chip in his thoughts, "Well our sleep is disturbed so lets' press on, perhaps in these dark hours we can find the count before he finds us or Ireena. I do favour going through those steel bound doors but perhaps we should expolre what the hall of heroes has to offer?"
