Update

#1 Post by Baramoor »

Hello again, my name is Phil, but I login under the name of "Baramoor" which was my first character when I started back when the 3 book set was first issued.

I've played through many versions/revisions of the game and have also played board games such as Tobruk, Panzerblitz, MechWarrior, Traveller, Metamorphosis Alpha and a multitude of others. I've collected a number of Judge's Guild games and some dragon magazine, white wolf dungeons and enjoyed playing them as a DM for over 30 years. Since the passing of my wife a few years ago and the growth and departure of our children to the world, I am looking at getting back into a game or two with players who want to try to work as mercenaries and problem-solvers. If you have a game in need of a player, I am able to post (sometimes a bit too often, so tell me if that is happening) regularly and would enjoy joining.

I do best in fighter, druid, illusionist and thief characters, have a Dragon Magazine stats and set up for (hate to say this with Dr. Who fans) Time Lords and the conman.

Also, I have PDF files for an assault on a Thieves Guild....I've never read it, but read the preliminary workup and if anyone wants to run a "take on a guild who has gotten too big for its britches", let me know and I'll send you the copy to run it.

Anyway, last bit of information, I am 50, have served 21+ years in the service, 4 years of that with the Marines and in their super squad detail, artillery and ground-pounding with 1/5 out of Pendleton. I have experience in search and rescue of downed aircraft and emergency aid and combat tactics, so that tends to come out a bit when I play.

Thanks for the look over and hope you all enjoy the games. And for anyone in the Virginia Beach, VA (i.e. Hampton Roads area). I can host and would love to get back into a person to person table top game...player or DM

Welcome Phil. I am pleased to say that I have played on here a game or two with you while you were in them. I also ran one game you joined. I enjoyed having you in my game and enjoyed working with you in the others. Hmm a Time Lord stat list interesting you will have to get me that at some point. The game you have with room for a player exactly what type of game is that (pbp, ftf, online/voice/video chat, Roll20?)

Hey Phil! Glad to meet ya!
Unfortunately I'm in South Jersey, too far to FtF with ya, but good luck in finding more games.
Be well,
--Ron--
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Hail & well met, Baramoor!

Welcome aboard and hope you get into some PbP action soon. Also wanted to say good luck on finding local folks for some FtF gaming.
