Hi there!
nice to meet you all, I'm a novice pen and paper player and DM, but a complete and utter newbie in pbp games, which I hope to change by joining some good game here with you. My D&D experience as a DM is made up by a couple 4th edition campaigns, although I still prefer basic D&D, 1e and 2e... Those were the games I played years ago and the games I loved.

What more to say: my first character ever was generated "3d6 in order" and came up a fighter who could barely communicate (intelligence around 4). He had the social potential of an armchair, but it was lots of fun!

I'm a little scared since English is not my tongue, but all in all, playing with you will make it better!

Hardcore! I love it. That's how we played OD&D too, with the supplements. My buddy Nazim actually rolled a Paladin... I believe that was the first PC to die in the dungeon. My 1 HP Cleric actually made it to second level (a spell finally!) before dying in a wandering monster fight. Gads, I dig this game!

I believe it is in need of one more player. It is a Labyrinth Lord rules game, which is a retro-clone of B/X. You can download a free copy of the core rules here:

Pretty much by-the-book rules game, so 3d6 in order for stats and such. The added bonus is the way it is set up, you don't see any character sheets of anyone else. So if your stats are crap, only you and the DM know it! Also makes for a more exciting game, in my opinion.

If you're interested, read the thread carefully for things to be aware of re: the DM's play style. I have absolutely no problem with it, but it is important to understand how he DMs to avoid any in-game issues.

Haha yes! I Always forget level 1 clerics have no spells in OD&D. So gritty! even AD&D didn't dare that (then of course AD&D 1E had plenty of nice little things like "the dungeon master should roll once every week of game time to check if the characters contracted one of those tremendous diseases due to no particular reason...")

Yes, they are two different sites. You can, of course, set up the exact same user ID (and password, I suppose) for both sites, but you need to register on both of them.
