Doricin had a vial of powdered BO. That is in addition to the 10-20 lbs of pure uncut rock in the chest. Plate Armor is quite valuable, the armor will be left but the Magic will be consumed.Rhourk wrote:Certainly, it is Black Obsidian, but how much obsidian will we need? We must save some to free his homeland, and as dear and noble as Kaleb is I need to consider the suffering of a nation of good innocent folk as well.

Re: Sidon or Bust
This is a small vial of shavings. We have a treasure chest filled with 20lbs of Obsidian.
Which BTW there is no chance of our giving all of it to the Slaad. He asked for a small stone of it.
I still think we will end up showing it to him and then killing all the evil-doers in Haliford.

Haysa: "The offering of the Magic Plate or the finest processed powder of Black Obsidian are both sufficient to bring back our brother Kaleb"
Re: Sidon or Bust
Please clarify, they want the Black Obsidian in the bottle, and we keep the armor? If so that sounds like a deal. Especially since we are sitting on enough BO to set off a nuclear winter.
Everyone agree?

Re: Sidon or Bust
As long as we are talking about a % of our total stores of Black Obsidian, i agree. Can we get the DM to detail out how much we have and how much we need to donate?Agnati wrote:Most certainly, agreedRhourk wrote:Please clarify, they want the Black Obsidian in the bottle, and we keep the armor? Re: Sidon or Bust
My understanding is that we are talking about the vial of BO powder that Doricin has and nothing from the chest of 20lbs.
Re: Sidon or Bust
Dumb question. What became of the two magical weapons that Tumagor was using??? Obviously, one was a Vorpal Sword. Was the Whip magical as well???

Re: Sidon or Bust
DM: You are beginning to learn more about the substance, and its processing. Doricin is familiar with the process of making BO into this fine powder which is necessary for much of its magic use. It is costly, dangerous and highly prized to have BO in this form. The Clarradonnes of long ago were the only ones capable of such work. There are many forms BO can be cut or processed and this one of them.Rhourk wrote:My understanding is that we are talking about the vial of BO powder that Doricin has and nothing from the chest of 20lbs.
The vial holds an amount equal to 8oz of fine, processed BO. You have 15 lbs of BO in raw form.
Re: Sidon or Bust
Yeah, everyone knows that Dwarves know a lot about making BO. They stink on ice!!!! : )
Re: Sidon or Bust
BO is Dwarven pheremone laden perfume to a Dwarf. Doricin is quite the lady's man.Tungsten wrote:Yeah, everyone knows that Dwarves know a lot about making BO. They stink on ice!!!! : )

Can't find the city details for Sidon on these forums. Have I missed it somewhere?
Does Sidon have a guild where Rickul can train?

DM: There are no specific details available to your party regarding the town of Sidon. You are currently in Greenhaven, determining your next course of action.Agnati wrote:Can't find the city details for Sidon on these forums. Have I missed it somewhere?
