Hi All!

#1 Post by PiebaldWookie »

So, introductions!

New here, but have run several PbP games on other forums.

I tend towards fantasy games (D&D in particular), but I'm willing to give most things a shot. My longest running game has been a two and a half year one-on-one Rogue Trader campaign with my partner. It's awesome.

I'm something of a houseruler, always fiddling and adding and taking away. If I run something with house rules, you'll be sure to know about it. I also have a tendency to run settings with different rules to emphasize different aspects of the setting (like porting our RT game to Risus to get rid of the massive amount of tables, charts and fiddly combat).

I prefer a slightly faster paced game, with a post at least every other day, preferably once or more per day.

Here's hoping for plenty of fun in the coming months!

Welcome PiebaldWookie!!
An old school DM that houserules???????? Well who'd've thunk it! ;)

Sounds like you'll fit in here perfect sir! Alethan will give you the run down of the best Q&A threads, but definitely ask questions. It's the most supportive board I've ever been a member of!

Be well,
--Ron--
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Welcome to the Unseen Servant! We enjoy long walks by the beach, dancing with ewoks, throwing dutch ovens, and the occasional dungeon crawl!
Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.
