Jealousy is RIGHT

Joking aside though I didn't think it mattered, the wolf would have woken Calen up and if he is up then the group might as well be marching! ;)

adding Wolf to Calens notes as companion

As the wolf alerts the party Calen wields his Halberd and looks in the direction of the thing near the horses, he will not go into the brush to engage yet. "Something is out there. Get ready to move out." He acts as standing guard for whatever is out there while the others pack up, if the thing reveals itself and attacks he will engage it.

As an after thought, "Horses will slow us down, better to just leave the ones we don't need. If anyone has a better idea say it."
Horse won't slow is down anymore than a wagon as long as we have feed. We might need spares as we start moving through rough Terrain.

Titus grabs his spear and gets ready to defend the group from whatever is in the bushes. "What is that? Some sort of large cat?"

Montego jumps up and announces if it is just an animal in the wild and it doesn't attack......we will leave it be. He also readies his bow in case of a charge from the beast.
he seems a little cranky this morning for some reason.

Sanu 12/20hp

Sanu was fast asleep when awoken by the commotion. He jumps up and grabs his battle axe. He positions himself behind Calen. I hope it goes away. Maybe it hungry.

Calen, "Hungry? Could leave one of the mules for it, makes our passing easier."

Svent "Oh feeding animals are we? What like the dead men a mile back were not enough to eat? Must be some very large animal." Svent readies to cast a magic missile if need be.

Calen simply shrugs, "If a dead mule that we don't need lets us pass without unnecessary delays then that is fine with me."

Tiger
Image

About 30 feet from the center of camp a horse whinneys in pain. A huge tiger has slashed the horse open and now attempts a take down.

The mules are calm, but 5 of the draft horses have broken free of their reigns and begun to stampede away from camp.

Calen rushes over to the tiger, "Just had to be impatient.."

Halberd(Specialized): [1d20+1] = 2+1 = 3, Damage: S/M[1d10+5] = 7+5 = 12, L[1d12+5] = 2+5 = 7

Apparently due to the struggle of tiger and horse Calen forgot how to fight.

Do I control the wolf or are his actions NPC'd?

Having limited sorcerous energies left, Fredricus will stand back and let the fighting men do their work. He'll save his last spell until need arises.

Garret takes a calm breath and fires two arrows at the tiger.

Long Bow Arrow 1[1d20] = 12 Arrow 2[1d20] = 10 Dmg 1[1d6] = 2 Dmg 2[1d6] = 4

Montego

With bow already in hand he will shoot two arrows in hopes it scares the hungry creature away without having to kill it.
2 arrows [1d20] = 10 Damage [1d6] = 1 [1d20] = 9 Damage [1d6] = 1 at least I didn't hurt it

I would prefer players do as many rolls as they can. GMs get too roll aplenty, as many of you know.

Sometimes a guy can't get to the roller though -- and that's just fine -- no problem doing it for ya.
