Robert "Ah yes so this is what a balloon feels like. Tumbler you could grasp my rope and we could pull you up that way my friend!"

With a gulp Tumbler grabs the rope and waits to see if he is light enough to be lifted.

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Robert likely not going anywhere now... "You grab it after i get up there... well hmm if it is long enough. Maybe tie your rope to it... before we run out of time!" yes yes very entertaining.

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Robert can carry Tumbler. Levitate, unlike fly, has an explicit weight limit. In the case of a potion, it's 600 lbs, which is enough to carry Robert and Tumbler and their gear.
How far down will Tumbler grab on to the rope? If he's 20' down the rope, when Robert reaches the ceiling Tumbler will still be 20' down (and nowhere near the spiral staircase if Robert is next to the door, because of the spiraling). It'll probably be easiest for Robert to float down and pick up Tumbler. Then they can both reach the top, assuming someone gives them a push into the doorway. It'll take three rounds to reach the top (20'/round climbing rate).

Where is Agrippo? falling softly he will chance slinging his shield over his shoulder and grappling for the nearest hand or foot hold, gargoyle head, to retsrain the fall. hate to think he would just simple waft down like some duck feather waiting to hit the floor?

If Robert does indeed float down Tumbler will grab the rope and climb further up so that they can both land closer together.

Robert will go back down so that Tumbler can come up for the lift. "Don't worry dear friend I am coming back for you. Now you too can experience what a balloon feels like." he smiles at tumbler.

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Tibbius replies to Vorkath Why don't you fly us both in there and try to put me down just inside the doorway. HANG ON to me until we are CERTAIN nothing will attack. Then, if everything is ok, you can leave me and get one of the others. he says still shaking a bit That way if we are attacked by anything, you can quickly fly us back outside. Sound ok?

"Aye," answers Vorkath, flying with Tibbius through the doorway and settling down about 5' inside.

You work on getting everyone past the door without touching the tower.
Vorkath flies Tibbius through the doorway and sets the elf prince on the stairs. The tower remains still, and nothing attacks...yet.
Robert floats down and picks up Tumbler. They rise to the top of the tower, at eye level with the pulsing heart. Vorkath flies out and gives them a shove into the doorway.
Tumbler and Tibbius now stand on the stairs just inside the door, with Robert and Vorkath hovering near them. The stairs curve around into a room above you, its contents hidden from your view. Iluq remains on the landing for now. Agrippo has fallen out of sight. No doubt he is alone at the bottom of the tower by now.

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
hmm nobody caught Agrippo?
Robert tries to toss his rope in so that someone might pull him into the tower. "Vorkath what happened to Agrippo? Also if you guys wouldn't mind pulling me in I'd appreciate that."

Vorkath, paladin
"I recall from our past adventures that Agrippo possesses a ring that empowers him to fall like a feather," Vorkath answers Robert. "He is safe, from the fall at least."
"If you all are alright with it, I can fly down and get Iluq, return, then retrieve Agrippo. If so, I'd advise staying put here. I detect evil above us."

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Robert "Yes I think that is wise if you would please." Robert then will wait until he can stop levitating unless I can freely levitate around the inside to look around. and then will search the current tower room they are in.

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Iluq waits at the bottom, he set down the gear he does not need and will make him too heavy and currently keeps an eye out for anything that may want to come and eat him.
Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.
Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Vorkath can just manage to carry Iluq while flying, but Agrippo is too heavy, even without his equipment, for Vorkath to carry while flying.
Robert could float down and carry Agrippo while levitating. It would take a while, though, because he can only climb at 20' per round. It would take more than two turns to carry Agrippo to the top of the tower that way.

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Robert will shove off out into the open out of the tower float down looking for Agrippo and try and float him back and repeat the process to get into the tower room again.

Robert again descends, this time to pick up Agrippo from the bottom of the tower. Robert falls as quickly as he can, slowing down just before he reaches bottom. On his way down, he glances below him and sees that Agrippo is not alone: six figures stand near him. One of them looks up at Robert, transforms into a bat, and flies up and out of the tower, right past Iluq! The other five figures leave through stairs set in the tower floor. Robert picks up Agrippo and begins the slow ascent to the top of the tower.
Meanwhile, Vorkath flies back down to the landing and retrieves Iluq. After dropping the priest inside the doorway, Vorkath doubles back for Iluq's gear.
While Iluq straps his equipment back on, Robert and Agrippo arrive to rejoin the group. You have all safely made it beyond the door at the top of the tower. You stand (or fly, or float) at a set of stairs that spirals up into a room above you. From your position on the stairs, you can't see what's in the room.Actions?
