Looks good to me. Though now that I see the map, would it be possible for Gawain to move adjacent to Dren or is the alcove too small?

Yes, Hedric is not keen on charging forward into that good night, past the front line!

No problem. The squares are 10' each so 4 people will fit in one. Just waiting on Uto's location and we will get started. If I have not heard by tomorrow morning, I will move ahead anyway.

The map has been updated for Gawain's move. If it still shows the previous version, please empty your internet cache and refresh the page.

Round #1
Players automatically win initiative

Players:
Dren: Melts into the shadows of the connecting hallway and awaits the zombies' approach.
Gawain: Moves to the same hallway as Dren and waits for the zombies' approach.
Hedric: Lights the torch affixed to the end of his staff and waits for the zombies' approach.
Marcus: Looses an arrow at Zombie 1 which looks like it will hit but the zombie stumbles and the arrow flies by ineffectually.
Mortiganto: Readies his shield and axe, waiting for the zombies' approach.
Pyrrhic: Pyrrhic fires his arrow at the same time as Marcus and as such, mis-times his shot as the zombie stumbles.
Uto: Grasping his holy symbol hanging from his neck, Uto exclaims " Begone you foul creatures, youse filthy undead! I, Uto, instrument of the mighty Wotan command it!" The zombies appear to be un-phased by the power of Wotan, continuing their shuffling gate.

Zombies
All the zombies move forward.

Mortiganto reaffirms his grip on his axe and tries to get the timing right before finally cleaving the shuffling horror before him right in its stupidzombieface.

Pyrrhic hefts his shield attempting to blocking the path standing shoulder to shoulder with Mortiganto.
Swinging his sword wildly towards the shambling husks of once-dead humans he screams "Why won't you foul things die? What unholy energies are making you invulnerable to my steel?"

To hit with Longsword: [1d20+1] = 4+1 = 5, damage: [1d8+1] = 2+1 = 3

Gawain will take advantage of the fact that Pyrrhic has the zombie's attention to hack at it's neck with his sword.

To hit: [1d20+2] = 19+2 = 21, damage with Longsword: [1d6+1] = 4+1 = 5

Uto

Code: Select all

Uto was originally behind Dren until someone rudely shoved their way in front of him. Uto should be in the same square as P & MG with Mace & Shield ready

Marcus fires his second arrow. This time he watches it zoom past an oncoming zombie, as he tries not to hit his fellow adventures with the stray shot.
[1d20+1] = 1+1 = 2 to hit

Each square is 10' and can hold 4 people. Are you in front of Dren (where Z1 currently is) or in front of Mortiganto (where Z2 currently is)? I can place you in either and I will move the zombie appropriately.

I guess Uto is fine where he is. He will hold his position and allow one of those in front of him to retreat behind them if they choose to. If possible he will reach over P to attack Z1 if the opportunity presents itself.

Seeing the creature's attack into them, and draw blood from his adventuring companion he swings his sword mightily towards the beasts, hoping to chop one down.

To hit with Longsword: [1d20+1] = 13+1 = 14, damage: [1d8+1] = 5+1 = 6

"NOOooo!" Mortiganto cries out. "This all went wrong much faster than I thought!" Mortiganto hacks at the zombie like a madman! "Die! DIE! DIEEE!"

Frenzied hacking (Z2): [1d20+1] = 14+1 = 15 (AC4), chopping damage: [1d6+1] = 5+1 = 6
