Re: Greetings from Grognard Games!

Hey Martin, I see you use both SKYPE and G+ hangouts for your interviews. Which do you find easier? I like the facility of G+ and SKYPE seems so limited, though it also seems to work. I use both for different reasons. G+ streams directly to YT, which means I don't have to spend time uploading. I ca...

Re: Greetings from Grognard Games!

Not to nitpick, but the interviews could use a clearer sound. Rob's droning voice and accent made it hard for me to understand most of what he was saying. I had to apply several tools to Rob's audio file - there was a lot of clipping. We did several tests before actual recording, each with varying ...

Re: Greetings from Grognard Games!

Hello, Martin. I just joined up here a couple months ago and I love it. Welcome. I checked out your YouTube channel and subscribed. An appendix N series is a fantastic idea. I checked out Jack Vance because of it and it blew me away. Lurve that stuff. What would you recommend as a starting point fo...

Re: Greetings from Grognard Games!

Martin, Curious if you've found anything game-wise here that catches your fancy? If you haven't already, could always roll up a high level 1E character and get on the waiting list for the 1e classic Tomb of Horrors! :) Best, Mitch Classic. I listened to that game the other day. All he has to say is...

Re: Greetings from Grognard Games!

I certainly will. I'll do a dedicated resources video at some point listing all the good places I've found on my travels :) If anyone would like to start a list off for me for old school game resources to feature that are interactive (no blogs please, that will be another project), please do... You...

I bet it's yer accent's what got em hooked. ;) Thank you for the sentiment. We're gaining a LOT of viewers that understand BECMI as... 1e. They're having their eyes opened, not just in terms of how many editions of D&D there have been, but also the timeline involved and the differences. So many...

Re: Greetings from Grognard Games!

Welcome GG. There are some great ideas coming out of that channel. Good job. We need guys like you to extend our 'old guard' feel to the new players. Not everyone will come, but the ones who do, will be embraced like kindred. Rule system is important to some, but stories are whats important to me. ...

Re: Greetings from Grognard Games!

Thanks guys. We're currently doing a series on Appendix N which started yesterday. We also got word back from the guys at Gygax Magazine that they'd like to come on the channel and do an interview, so depending on when we can get that organised we may have some very interesting reveals if possible :...
