Thinking about it I'm going to put the PCs, plus T'lia, Liv and Jakob as major NPCs on the main tab. Then I'll try to put together other tabs based on the org chart and the info in the 'command' threads and the logistics thread.

Once this is done then I'll post it and everyone can then look at it and check up on their relevant parts.

I still need skill info for Prerna, Kit and Klaus.

I'll try and get it up by end of Tuesday.

I've just done a quick update, so the spreadsheet now has all PCs and major NPCs.

There is a bit of a mix and match with some of the weapons (hvy & gun) when they have been sourced by different books. I have listed them as given and Tigath has said that he will apply common sense to resolve these variations.

That's the one thing about Traveller, improving/learning skills. For instance Voss looks like he has no pistol skill, but I imagine he would have got some level of skill by now.

From memory it only really took off in the later editions. However I'm open to bids if folk want to expand their PCs skills.

I seem to recall that Voss was using a brace of machine pistols so by all means award him SMG 1

Agree entirely with your wisdom as above.

Please all do apply the common sense "what it must surely mean to your benefit" to a skill if in any doubt.

I think "Combat Rifleman" was used to describe a (compulsory) first gun combat skill level in Basic Training???

However, the seemingly almost casual nomenclature amongst the original books (unless checked) could precipitate something of an "arms race" of compounded misunderstanding (deliberate or otherwise). Bk 5 "Handgun" trumped Gun Cbt (Pistol) because it included the desired snub weapons (which since Bk 4 were now only available as Zero G wpns) and then Merchants not only gave themselves airs... or was it hairs... by calling themselves Princes (heirs then?) and in their burgeoning noble arrogance started kicking everyone's collective butt (giving both heirs and grazes) with Melee Combat - which was just twice as effective as every other melee skill! Even those taught by the military...

Meanwhile Belters rejoiced in their status as Citizens of the Imperium because by default they learned Vacc Suit gaining them all the skills Marines had a 50%(?) shot at once they'd been selected for and passed the Protected Environment(?) course. How Marines who (as per the odds) could either move or shoot in Zero G (but not both) howled in anguish when the only bloke default qualified to operate BattleDress was again the Belter!

If the Zhodani had a fault (which they rigorously dispute!) it might be that they do indeed know their place and deal with all and sundry from that "lofty altitude"...

While Erica East was almost flawlessly personable T'lia does occasionally "let her nobility hang out" (I shamelessly borrowed the term from Debretts).

I think when he joined us he had SMGs (and he has the SMG skill), but we found him a brace of naval gauss pistols.

As for Frank's skills he'd be looking to learn leader and tactics. I'm sure we've discussed this previously with Jakob around. The only weapon related thing would be his use of the underslung grenade launcher on his rifle.
