"Something was making noise in here just a moment ago. Be careful." Sky takes note of the broken chain on the ground. "A pet of some kind?" She pulls her crossbow and moves to the southwest corner, quietly listening.

Trophy Room
The group carefully inches into the room, noting the cooler temperature and noting the thin patches of frost that coats various sections of the walls, floor, and debris in the room. Small white scales, similar to those found earlier in Meepo's broken cage, are spotted scattered throughout the room, with a heavier concentration of them located near the broken chain.
When suddenly, an overturned table in far corner of the room flips over and, from its hiding place behind and beneath it, erupts a wyrmling of the white dragon variety. "wux re ti balsag. wux ti belhal. wux geou xikin!" it spits in draconic, which Klilxuac translates in common to the rest: "You are not Balsag. You not belong. You will pay!"
The dragon surveys those in the room carefully, seeming to take in the likely capabilities of each.
Its intentions are unmistakably evil.
"Calcryx?" Meepo says quitely, from out in the hallway, after hearing the white dragon call out its threat. "Calcryx!" the kobold guide chirps excitedly.

Re: Session 2: Return to the Citadel
Kelben moves back and lets Meepo move up "Is that your missing dragon Meepo? He kind of looks like he's about ready to kill us." the gnomes actions right now are to not attack the dragon and let Meepo deal with his "pet" trying to get out of the way.

Hargrem
The cleric followed the others into the room. After his last spill into the pit, he was definitely worse for wear. Though, a new challenge had presented itself in the form of a wyrmling. They needed to act quickly to get the beast back under control, and he only hoped that their tag-a-long 'friend' would finally step up to his duties. Hargrem positioned himself against the far wall and prepared to charge the beast in case anything went wrong.

Sky stares in awe of the wrymling. Her fur ripples in gleeful anticipation of the possibilities. "Ooooh. Ask him what he wants. Ooh! Ask him if he wants to join us. Ooh! Ask him if I can sit on his back!"
Sky isn't as naive as she seems, and decides to prepare a spell if the wrymling attacks.

Round 1
"Calcryx? I'm glad we found you! We're here to bring you back," Klilxuac says in Draconic. The native tongue being spoken to it seems to resonate with the evil beast... then the voice of Meepo, also speaking Draconic, chimes in. "Calcryx! We found you!" the kobold chrips excitedly.
"WUX!" Calcryx roars in its native tongue once the kobold guide comes into view. The wyrmling wastes no time and sends an icy blast of hail in a 15-foot cone targeting Meepo; the affects of which also happen to catch Hargrem and Kliluac, the later of which succumbs to the blast before being able to translate. Everything in the blast's path, including the near corner, is coated in a layer of ice.
---
Okay, here we go. A few things:
Given how the above played out, anyone that acts after Calcryx is able to react accordingly. Make no mistake, there will be no negotiations here -- the young dragon is definitely attacking!

Okay, here we go. A few things:
- Shaede, I will need a Constitution saving throw (DC: 12) for Hargrem.
- Scott, Kliluac will drop to zero hit points even with a successful save, so a roll won't be necessary.
- Meepo does not have enough hit point to even survive half damage and, as a NPC, will be dead.
Given how the above played out, anyone that acts after Calcryx is able to react accordingly. Make no mistake, there will be no negotiations here -- the young dragon is definitely attacking!

Hargrem
When the dragon let out an icy breath, he watched as Meepo and the other dragonborn fell immediately. It was awful to see one turn on its own brethren, but perhaps this dragon was just plain mean. It's breath hit Hargrem, but luckily, he was able to dodge the brunt of its' attack.
He prayed to Tymora and called upon his diety to save Klilxuac. He would be needed in this fight to come. A divine glow descended upon the dragonborn and himself as they were healed. Hargrem then turned his attention to the wyrmling and moved to its' side.

Kelben thinking to himself so much for the returning of the dragon to the kobolds and tries to attack the dragon not that he really wants to but he merely has no choice in the matter.

Round 1
A chill fills the room as Calcryx issues its icy blast, knocking out Meepo and Klilxuac, and severely wounding Hargrem. Kelben, perhaps hesitant out of fear, jabs at the young dragon with his rapier but is unable to pierce through its scales. Hargrem, reeling from the blast of hail, channels Tymora and calls upon his 'preserve life' ability and bestows a bit of health to both himself and his recently fallen dragonborn companion, stirring the sorcerer back to consciousness. Erky sneaks into the room, grabs hold of Meepo, and pulls the deceased body out of the room.
Sky begins to whisper a discordant melody that only Calcryx can hear, which wracking the wrymling with terrible pain and causes it to flee, as quickly as it can, back into the corner it had been hiding in, and away from the tabaxi bard.
---
The failed save against Sky's 'Dissonant Whisper' spell forces Calcryx to use its reaction to retreat... which will cause it to move out of the reach of both Kelben and Hargrem, drawing opportunity attacks.
I don't want to make these, so GreyWolfVT and Shaede, please go ahead and make one melee attack, which will end round 1.
Everyone, please provide any movement and/or actions for round 2. (Note: The initiative order is fixed, and does not change from one round to the next. )

She pulls out her hand crossbow and fires at Calcryx.

As the wyrmling attempted to escape the grizzled, old cleric, Hargrem reached out with his mace, thankful for the opportunity to strike at its' weak spot.
He then charged the frightened wyrmling, yelling, "Tymora's will be done" and he called upon her great spirit to inflict what turned out to be pitiful amounts of light damage from his mace.

Round 2
As Calcryx retreats into its corner, Kelben and Hargrem swipe at the fleeing dragon with a rapier and mace respectively, with the former managing to connect and flick loose a few ice white scales with his skewering attempt.
---
Klilxuac scrambles to his feet and looks to combat ice with fire. Targeting the assailant that knocked him unconscious moments earlier, the sorcerer sends a mote of fire at the wrymling, but the creature, still writing in pain, flails out of the way at the last moment causing the cantrip attack to sail harmlessly past its intended target.
The young dragon efforts to regain its ability to use its breath weapon, and snarls when it fails to recover the energy necessary. Pure evil is detected behind the creatures eyes as it stares down the rogue that just struck him. With lightning quick reflexes, it lunges forward, extending its neck, and snapping its still powerful jaws shut down on... nothing, as the gnome effortless sidesteps the attack. This defensive maneuver, though, causes Kelben's aim to be slightly off as his rapier jab catches a sturdy scale firmly and isn't able to catch flesh or cause any harm.
Calcryx having engaged them allows Hargrem to remain boldly in place. "Tymora's will be done!" the man of faith calls out, casting 'sacred flame' and causing a flame-like radiance to descend upon the creature, who manages to spot the effect just in time to dart out of the way.
"Kelben! Remind me not to piss off dragons, of any kind!" Sky yells while pulling out her hand crossbow and releasing a bolt, which shatters a scale and sinks into the dragon's fleshy interior causing it to roar in pain. "wux geou xikin ihk batobot!" it snarls, which Klilxuac is able to translate... if he'd like.
Calcryx has taken a beating, and is significantly bloodied, but shows absolutely no sign of relenting.

The sorcerer snarls something back at the dragon. Then, he does something you hadn't seen him do before. He seems to draw his focus into himself momentarily, before launching three purple darts of energy streaking into the dragon.

Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Sky
She watches as Kliluac fires purple darts at the wrymling. She starts counting on her fingers. "One, two, three...four? Ooh! You're full of tricks, you are."
She sees the fight turning in her direction and takes a moment to gloat. "You should have let me ride you."

Kelben merely raises an eyebrow wishing the words were translated then again at Sky and the odd remarks of tricks and decides to try and strike the dragon again seeing the attacks continue.
