Norbold rises from his sleep, stretching and yawning, does some quick exercises, puts his armor back on, has a bite to eat.

Norbold says, "So where do we go look next?"

Korin "Yah deaf Norbold we gonna go say hi again ta yer ogre pal that er kill em. Either way that'd be our next stop."

Norbold says, "Ah, yes the fine fellow who could have been our drinking buddy at the pub, trading furs while in town, who now wants to eat us and tan our hides instead."

Korin "Eh that's why I gonna let ya go in solo see if ya can smooth talk the dolt. If I aint in sight he might not try ta kill us."

Phoenix judges the cleric. If you can communicate with th ogre you could always cast a command spell and cause him to pass out and we could finish him off without danger. he says nonchalantly.

Norbold says, "Yes, however I would give up my Cure Spell for the day, of course."

[Dram]

Ox says. Let Korin do his thing. If that does not work then we can try using a spell.

Korin "Sounds like a plan ta me. An we aughta give the poor dead monk a proper grave so no more rats go gnawin on his bones."

All four characters are now up and about, deliberating on what to do next.

Phoenix will head into the ogre passage and move along the right hand wall carefully, until at the small opening where the creature was encountered before. Using his infravision he will look into the cave and see if he can tell what the ogre is doing, or even if he is still there.

Norbold blesses Phoenix before he heads inside to scout for the Ogre and waits off to the side of the mouth of the cave, for Phoenix to come back out or rush in, if there is trouble.

Phoenix sees the ogre, apparently eating.

Korin remains outside of the ogre cave knowing well that his appearance would likely piss off the ogre into attacking again. The dwarf rocks on his feet and whistles a dwarven tune.

[Nordbo]

Phoenix is spying on the ogre. Korin waits behind. Ox and Norbold are outside.

Phoenix will scuttle back out and tell the others what he found. Shall we just go home? Or are you lot going to do something? I can’t take this thing on my own.

Korin "Well Norbold there was makin friends with the thing and I aint able ta talk in it's tongue like he can. So I waited out ere so he could go chat the ogre up. Mostly I wanna go search his lair an see what's worth takin if anythin. Otherwise we oughta bury the poor dead monk then go home."

"Well, Ok then, let's all go inside now, I just thought to, leaving Phoenix alone to quietly scout ahead first."

"Do you guys want me to try and converse with him again or just sneak in and ambush him."

Phoenix snorts derisively, and gestures for the cleric to have at it, and steps aside. Hes eating. So probably safest to try and parley first as he isn’t as likely to be hungry for elf or dwarf or gnome.
