Cayley is relieved to see the one with the hammer is turning to fight and no longer threatening the egg, hence she attacks the nearest kobold (presumably the burly one) with her flail. "Time for you to meet your god."

Dungeon Master:

This should actually be the start of a new round of combat here so you can state your moves!

Opps, I see the remaining Kobolds need to do their 'to hits' for the last round, ok!

Elusev continues to fire arrows at the leader type kobolds, intent on not letting them finish whatever ritual they had started. If his first arrow should drop the last remaining burly kobold then he will aim the second shot at whatever kobold is left standing.

Long Bow(Specialized), To Hit:[1d20+4] = 16+4 = 20, Damage: S/M[1d6+1] = 5+1 = 6, L[1d6+1] = 4+1 = 5
Long Bow(Specialized), To Hit:[1d20+4] = 19+4 = 23, Damage: S/M[1d6+1] = 6+1 = 7, L[1d6+1] = 3+1 = 4

Dungeon Master:

I just saw Cwreando's Post now & the Spell only takes 1 Segment to cast so he fires it off at the last remaining Burly Kobold & puts him to Sleep!!!

No more Combat Actions needed then!

You can search around now!!

Let me know what you are all doing!

Oh, he is going to put to sleep everyone in a 30 feet radius of the spell (Centered on the Burly Kobold) so he's going to have to go around slapping people up!!!!

After being woken up by the Doctor Procyon immediately rushes to the egg, checking it's condition.
How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, ’n’ how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, ’n’ how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind
The answer is blowin’ in the wind

Arn, seeing that the others are deftly handling the egg and the captive elf, goes to check on the unopened door down at the end of the hall (the door at the right end of hallway 11). He won't open it, but will listen for possible enemies who might heard the scuffle and come rushing through.

Dungeon Master:

Tuireann & Elusev run back to the cell room where the half-elven girl was, followed by Smoke the Cooshee.

This secured room appears to be a jail.

Four separate cages of heavy steel secure the lone prisoner of the room.

The jailor has a bunk and chest in the room to ensure no escapes.

This room is lit by dim torchlight.

The prisoner is a filthy looking half-elven woman.

She springs to her feet as you enter the room.

The Girl is all happy & cries when seeing Smoke whom jams his muzzle between the bars so that the girl can pet him.

Girl says,

" Did you find the bronze egg? Is it alright? Did you see two big weasels? Bashka has the keys to these cells, he's a big burly looking kobold with a chain shirt, buckler & short sword. "

Meanwhile, Back in the Ritual Chamber:

This spotlessly clean room is dimly lit by censors and burning incense.

It looks as though the room has been prepared for some elaborate ceremony.

The curved pews have been repaired.

They straddle a large engraved summoning circle.

The grooves of the circle are filled with what looks like fresh blood.

Two stone monoliths inscribed with crude kobold letters flank the entrance to the temple.

Two old dwarven statues on the far wall look so defaced that it is impossible to tell whose image they portrayed.

One would guess that they represented members of the dwarven pantheon or dwarven royalty, but

once again these have been vandalized during the desecration of this once holy shrine.

A “nest” of gold coins has been prepared on the altar before you.

On the other side of the coins is a large brass bowl holding a large shiny blood soaked egg.

This area is the ritual room.

Jenks check the altar for traps (Need your Find/Remove Traps 1d100 Roll!)

Procyon eagerly awaits for Jenks to finish searching so he can check on the blood soaked egg's condition.

Arn seeing that the others are occupied with the contents of the ritual chamber, moves out into the hallway & goes to the door at it's far east end, presses his ear against it but can not distinguish any noise coming from inside!

Elusev will return to the ritual room and look for the kobold in question, retrieving the keys from it and then heading back to free the half elven woman. Once the cage swings open he will inspect her, looking for any injuries that need immediate attention.

While he does this he also comments, "Hush and be still, you are safe now. The kobolds have been stopped and the egg is secure, but a bit bloody..."
