Jacob gives Korin a confused look, "Korin, that's where we tied them up... Perhaps you should lay off that "waterskin" eh?"

Jacob will also check the entrance way that they will soon be traveling down for any traps.

Rewind! We pick up from here:

Ox- Lets get the and secure them up somewhere. Korin,and Norbold stay here

Norbold (...) ""Now, let's check out these plagues, anyone got a stick or something?""

Jacob and Ox are now PM:ed about what happens on their walk to secure the horses

Norbold looks for a rock to toss into the cave, making sure it passes between the two plagues.

If nothing happens he looks for a bigger object & does the same, if still nothing or he couldn't find anything else, he'll wave his

Mace around the opening.

Ox- Returns with Jacob back up with Korin and Norbold. Did you guys figure anything out about theses plaques?

Korin after the rock test. "Alright best stand back I'm gonna try and press the buttons one at a time and wait to see and listen for anythin' ta happen. Don't stand in front of the plaques incase something shoots outta the mouths. Don't stand directly in the entrance in case a door or something hidden comes crashin down either." then he will press the very first button on the left and work his way to the right then down without standing in front of the mouths on the plaques.

Norbold also waved his mace around the opening & nothing happened.

Says,

"Korin, you may want to press those buttons with the tip of a weapon first, don't want you to lose any fingers now!"

Jacob and Ox make their way safely back up the stairs, where they see Norbold waving his mace about while Korin is working over the panel in the right wall. A really foul pong wafts over from where Korin stands.

Norbold and Korin hear Jacob and Ox come up the stairs, then see their faces peer over the threshold. Jacob looks vaguely uneasy.

"Like ewww! Smells of the dead, not a good sign. Korin, maybe if we press buttons at the same time???"

When Korin releases his finger from the lower button of the right hand plaque, the <psssh> sound stops and nothing more is emitted from the mouth opening. The stench dissipates

Ox- What is that foul stench. Korin lay off the stale ale. You guys figure anything out yet? Have you tried to push them both at the same time. We had a little excitement down below where we tied the horses

Korin ignoring the jests does the same to the other plaque as well.

Result of Korin's experiments with the left metal plaque:

• Left metal plaque, left eye goes <click> when pressed. Nothing obvious happens, and no follow-up sound is heard elsewhere in the tunnel as a result.

• Left metal plaque, right eye goes <click> when pressed. Nothing obvious happens, and no follow-up sound is heard elsewhere in the tunnel as a result.

• Left metal plaque, lowest button goes <click> when pressed and a nasty flame shoots straight out from the mouth opening! (flame length: about 1.5 feet)

But as GW previously PM:ed that Korin

will wait until nobody is standing in front of the plaques mouth opening

then nobody gets hurt. However, Korin's already badly stained glove gets a bit singed

Does Korin keep pressing or stop pressing the lowest button ?

Jacob will also check the entrance way that they will soon be traveling down for any traps.

Going over the entrance way, Jacob is not able to discover any traps.

Korin again only presses each button shortly he does not linger and continue to hold any of the buttons. He also does not own gloves. "You know if we press both buttons on the bottom that could create a nasty fireball."

Ok, if no gloves, then Korin's hand takes 0.5 hp of damage

Jacob, "Then I guess we don't.. ya know... press both? I can't see any traps around here so I think we're safe to go in and get this done with."

[Dram]

Ox- Lets try pushing both plagues in at the same time and see how that works. Who is going to push the other side? Ox takes his hand axe by the head so he can use the handle to push in the plague. Stands off to the side.

Jacob simply sighs, muttering to himself, "It seems yet again the words of reason go upon deaf ears..." He will stand out of the way, not wanting to be caught up the whatever is they think they are doing.

Says,

"Just a hunch; perhaps a combination of multiple different buttons, should be given a try here."

He's ready to press any combo, like both eyes & the one below the mouth.

OK, please state how many/which buttons are pressed, on which/how many plaques, at which timing, and by whom (and how each presser is posed in relation to plaque).
