Is anyone paralyzed now?
If not, let's move out.

I forgot about that. However, I just checked the possessions of Eohannud, and he had the following:

1. Candles (10)… 1 lbs
2. Flint & Steel
3. Lantern (hooded)… 2 lbs
4. Lantern oil (5 flasks)… 5 lbs
5. Rope (hemp)… 20 lbs

If the group wants to continue, I'm fine assuming that someone picked these up (which actually would have solved some earlier problems as well).

Anyone can feel free to claim whatever they'd like, just add the items to your character sheet and update your encumbrance accordingly.

Ciar would have taken five candles and one flask of oil. I assume Fulp would want the rope, thus correcting his description?

For those of you still involved in the game, you should have received a message in your private forum requesting that you update the campaign ID in the die roller for your character. Please do so and let me know if you have any problems.

Thanks.

dmw71 wrote:...update the campaign ID in the die roller for your character....
The reason for this is:

I figured I would set up a personalized campaign in the die roller for each player, instead of having all players link to a single campaign. Now, when a player makes any roll, no one will be able to see the results except for that player and the DM. I figured this roll secrecy would be appreciated, especially once you start to gain new levels. ;)

Regarding this, feel free to post all rolls made for your character in your private forum.

You would post whatever action you would normally in the public forum like normal, but create a second post, this one in your private forum, that includes a link to any rolls made that correspond to your public post. Likewise, any rolls made against your character will be posted in your private forums. For example:

[public forum]
Player: Mulvey attacks the goblins.
DM: The goblin attacks Mulvey.

[private forum]
Player: [link to roll]
DM: [link to roll]

Make sense? Any questions, feel free to ask.

Per the following, Gary (hedgeknight) has withdrawn from the game.
hedgeknight wrote:Hey Dave > just wanted to let you know that when we get back to town (or at a good break point), I'm going to step away from this game. Thanks for letting me play.
hedgeknight wrote:If you have someone who wants to take over Festus (or if you want to NPC him), that works for me.
I would rather NPC Festus until a replacement can be found than have an unhappy player "stuck" controlling a character they don't want, in a game they're not interested in.

I appreciate the notice, but it's not necessary in this case.
For the time being, I will be NPC'ing both Festus and Sparrow.

Regarding Sparrow, I'm still holding out hope that OGRE MAGE returns to the game, so his character will be NPC'd indefinitely.

As for Festus, I will NPC him until the next logical stopping point in the game, at which time I will decide how to handle the situation. Likely, Festus will simply take leave of the group and a replacement player can be introduced with their own character... or not, if having the sixth player is deemed unnecessary.

As NPC's, Sparrow and Festus should be considered non-decision-making companions and will follow the lead of the rest of the group.

Specific requests can be made of either them, but I will be reluctant to make them volunteer anything outside of the most simple and obvious contributions (e.g. Sparrow and his prowess with rope, or Festus using his natural dwarven abilities).

Questions? Thoughts? Feel free to voice them here.

Bummer. Will miss ya, Hedge.

Yeah, I get not wanting us to use them as cannon fodder or meat shields. Festus' axe will be hard to replace!

I just wanted to remind you that Eohannud had other light sources which, as of yet, remain unclaimed:

1a. Candles (5)
2. Flint & Steel
3. Lantern (hooded)
4. Lantern oil (5 flasks)

Kassel has enough weigh allowance to take the lantern and the oil if that's ok.

How heavy is a travelling spellbook by the way? I can't find it in the PHB. Cheers
