Nope I never said you saw what was propelling it other than the 3 stone rollers/wheels. It's like a really old steamroller.

Something clicks in the crazed Elf's mind, one of his eyes start blinking rapidly and he is muttering to himself. After a moment of this he quiets down and looks at the ground for a moment before looking at the bound orc, tears in his eyes, he speaks softly in Elven, "Why won't you accept me?" before using the knife and cutting both of the orc's throats, letting their blood run and spew out before walking to meet up with the others.

Once he meets up with them he will simply say with a smile on his face, "They knew nothing of importance."

Lubidius is absolutely stunned and appalled at the Elf's actions...."What in the hells did you do that for? They were helpless and no-threat; I could have just knocked them unconscious.....there was no need for murder!"

Alanis looks at Lubidius, seeming confused at his accusations of murder, "What? Why would we let them live? They would just get free and attack us later on or go kill someone else. Should I have untied them and given them your weapons before killing them? Would that have sated your needless desire for "morals"?!"

Lubidius just shakes his head and re-affirms in his own mind that the Elf was not only crazy; but dangerous as well. "WE have killed quite a few opponents lately Alanis; if someone that doesn't knows us just sees us killing helpless prisoners and they have some reason to believe we're a threat to them; they might not bother to ask us what our reasons were for doing so. They might just summarily execute us; even if we're not actively posing any threat or resistance. Maybe that's your ticket to the Rat-King; but I have no interest in playing executioner except when I know my life or those of my friends is in danger or if the one I'm striking is irredeemable. Those orcs were probably evil; but maybe they were just serving as guards for the Ogres or whatever else might be here because their only choice was that or death. I hope you are never forced into such a situation where you have to make that choice."

Shaking his head; the Thief feels weary and shuffling away from the scene; he moves as quietly as possible to move up to where Theodore and Thifli and the others are....

The party reconnects down to near where Alanis was holding his prisoners to which he does not have with him and everyone else can see frustration on Lubidius's face and a look of concern or fear of Alanis. You all trail behind the juggernaut thing for a distance down the cave and it comes to a large room full of slaves, mining orcs slave driving, some ogre's and orog guarding tunnels and from the looks of it something larger perhaps a cave troll?

The party is wise enough to stay out of sight as the juggernaut vanishes into the large cave and likely off down another tunnel.

Actions?

As Lubidius stomps away Alanis looks around, mumbling to himself under his breath, "What did he mean? such gibberish! As if anyone would be so foolish as that... It seems he is weak, not like you. Press on..." He then shrugs his shoulders and heads up to the rest of his companions. Looking around with a slight smile on his face.

Eirik looks to Dune. Alanis had been a tad...off for a while now, but this was a whole new level of irresponsibility and danger. He had no knowledge of how to treat such people who had been so touched, nor did he fully understand what might have happened to provoke such behavior.
