Mort nods "That is exactly what my thinking is. Kormak remember to kill all the hob gobs but one."
Kormak "That will be hard to do but I shall try Mort."

Victor Exclaims, "We should take the road! All paths are better taken when there are roads! This is a universal fact!"
Maya, "I am fine with either."

Ok, so obviously the majority of adventurers wish to risk going along the North Caravan road to get up to the Caves of Chaos.
I Still need someone to draw up the route so i know exactly where you wish to go & so i can figure out the number of random wandering monsters chances i need to roll for!!!

Re: Chapter 5: A Dark Light
Idonea suggests following the road until it meets the stream emerging from the Caves' valley, and then following the water to the Caves themselves. "It's hardly subtle, I'll grant you that. But if we arrive with full sun in the sky, it may well be safer to stay out in the open."

Mr. Choe agrees,Pulpatoon wrote:Idonea suggests following the road until it meets the stream emerging from the Caves' valley, and then following the water to the Caves themselves. Just because we approach there does not mean we have to enter there. I like Idonea's plan.
And the possibility of capturing a Hob could lead it information.

Dungeon Master:
The Party gets well wishes from the various merchants in the Market square prior to them making their way to the Main Gatehouse of the Keep.
Ok, here is a Map of the area the adventures route would take them!
I still would not mind a line drawn so i can see where exactly the party wishes to tread! (Use photoscape!)
Borderlands Map of North Caravan road & Caves of Chaos area: Updated 5/20/2014
The Black River floods the North Caravan road from time to time & is not flooded now.
Once Baramoor posts his character(s) in the character sheet thread, we will move out of the keep & onto the North Caravan road!

Dungeon Master:
The Adventure Party now make their way to the main gate where they see Castellan Devereau again & also see, Sabine, Michelle, Tella & Willis.
They all send the group off with good luck wishes!
Half the party will be let out at time through the main gate, there is 15 in the party & 2 extra horses.
What will be the Marching Order??

Re: Chapter 5: A Dark Light
From what I recall Mort and Ewat in the front and in the way back was Kormak and Borum and possibly Idonea? other than that the middle was a mess of the others.

Re: Chapter 5: A Dark Light
Wexley will string his bow and take position in the middle of the party
He isn't armored for frontal combat and unless we're moving in denser forest, he'd provide nothing in the way of advance scouting/thieving ability and will best provide support this way.

Re: Chapter 5: A Dark Light
Ok, let us get the Adventure party moving along now!
As the last half of the party make their way over the drawbridge & meet the 1st half on the other side of the ravine, the drawbridge rises & Outer Portcullis is lower.
The Party makes their way down to the North Caravan road & turn eastward to begin their mission!
NOTE: The Horses' Movement rate is now 170 ft/round now that you are on an open road!

Re: Chapter 5: A Dark Light
Ewat is noticeably more at ease, outside the Keep's gates. He sits a little taller in his saddle, looking alert and eager as he scans ahead for danger.
Re: Chapter 5: A Dark Light
Breathing a sign of contentment at being outside the city walls, Wexley pauses only briefly to remove his bow from his quiver and quickly string it before returning to the group and the march ahead.
He smiles momentarily before remembering the purpose of their travels and then falls serious once more as he begins to scan the forest edges from side to side.

Mort "Remember Ewat we have to keep our eyes peeled. Make sure to watch to the sides of the road as well as ahead of us and I'll do the same."
