"You will be lucky to gain any kind of reputation.", Gus loves his own joke and laughs more.

He says, "We fought Gnolls all damn night. These horses are fierce in a fight. Anyway, we made some money at least. Clem even opened us a bank account as if we were proper folk or some corporation or something."

"Did everyone make it to camp without injury?"

Gus turns and again makes the call of the Tufted Titmouse

Clem returns the call from further back in the woods.

Strombrow "Ahem yes well we did fight some large spiders and Linos cooked it and some of the others ate it. Other than that we did indeed scout the area and discover the cave we seek. But the others and I decided it best to rest and make camp before entering such and evil blighted place."

Luna: "AAOohhhuuwwff,"(stifles a yawn) "I'm as knackered as a gnoll in a nebula. Is this area safe for some sweet slumber ?"

Rondoel to Norbo & the rest:

"Safe as can be for the moment at least."

"Remember Castellan Devereux mentioning about mosquito-like bat things? Those are called Stirges."

"They come out at night to feast & there are plenty of them in the Borderlands."

"We have about 9 hours of darkness left."

Starting with Stormbrow i need the order of the Watch.

The expression of spider-induced peace on Linos' face disappears with the arrival of the second party. "The carnival returns,"he mutters just a little too loudly. He huffily follows the other Clerics to the circle where they are making their final prayers for the night, refilling their spiritual tanks before sleeping.

If people don't jump for guard duty Strombrow will volunteer folks.

Strombrow "Well now that the rest of you are here that will help with the night watch shifts. I've taken first watch I just need a couple more watches any volunteers or do I need to appoint people??"" he says puffin out his chest a little to indicate his leadership.

Boc stands back up from the camp fire, "Would you like me to retrieve the druid from the ridge or will we meet up with him tomorrow." His tone, as usual, holds no sarcasm and it seems this is a legitimate question.

Strombrow "I did ask you Boc to do that earlier actually. But I imagine Linos's cooking might have distracted you a bit. Yes please go get him before it gets much darker." Strombrow smiles at Boc half shaking his head wondering if the man would not misplace his head if it were not attached.

Boc, the joking chide seeming to go completely over his head nods and leaves the camp to go fetch the other woodland denizen.

If nothing happens on the return trip then Durgan will fill Stormbrow in on what had happened while he was watching the canyon.

Boc Maxima & Durgan manage to come back to the campsite unscathed! (Darn it! ;p)

Strombrow "Welcome back Durgan, sorry I meant to have Boc gather you back sooner. But the rest of the group is back with us now. We are making camp here for the moment and apparently eating purified and cooked spider. I am looking for some folks for night watch duty at the moment I am on first look out. Need a couple or few more to finish out the night so we all can get rest."

Durgan nods towards Stormbrow and sets up an area for him to lay down on and rest.

Both Durgan and Boc volunteer for watch shifts.

Ok so it's Stormbrow, Durgan & Boc on the Night Watch.
It can be 4, 4 & 1 hour or 3, 3, 3 hour shifts. What will it be?

Rondoel gauged from the position of the moon that there is roughly 9 hours of darkness left.

Whatever Grey chooses is fine with me, my characters are anything but picky lol

Odderick says, "I can help with a shift. It can be good to have two sets of eyes, sometimes."

He looks at the pot of spider mush and wrinkles his nose. "Did you lose your provisions? I've got plenty to share."

Ok, the Adventurers have settled into sleep / meditation / spell study mode.

Around 11:30pm Stormbrow sees something swoop down onto Garbonzo, & runs over to him.
Next thing 2 of the 5 horses are neighing, baying & bucking.

Stormbrow has 2 segments of initiative.

Stirges:
