Rego is a pearl merchant, and wants you to make this area safe for pearl diving. He would likely be ok with getting the crabs to move on, if you could.

Regarding the strange offer, you may consider... You are far from a city which might mint coins. In these circumstances, barter is common, and he may or may not have a big pile of coins. It would not be foreign to your experience that he might offer you "stuff" to pay off the debt, when and if you succeed, if he doesn't. If he's not just betting against you, that is...

Want to settle on a plan?

Are there still actions missing before we can continue and fight the crabs?

Hi guys, I'm sorry i've been awol. My free time lately has been taking some big hits (sick kid, multiple disruptions from the snow, etc) and I haven't been able to sit down and take care of things. I think I should be able to get it done tomorrow afternoon.

No problem. Just getting edgy because of my past history with PbP games. I understand the sick kid thing; it's no fun at all. Granted, the snow here has actually given me more time to post rather than less. :)

Yeah, for me, it sort of makes me full time sitter, so getting time to sit down and work things out becomes much harder than I was expecting. Again, apologies for my delay.

No problem, your kid's health is more important, glad to see you coming back though.

Well, nothing new for me, Minos is still holding position while the others are firing arrows.

Ok, I'll update tomorrow if we don't get anything else. I'll do a couple of rounds to speed things up. Are you guys going to stand your ground, our retreat as they approach?

Hard to say. It depends on how it looks like the fight is going. However, I'll err on retreating if it comes to that.

Hi guys,

I'm sort of curious to know if you were interested in pursuing any of the various adventures that are "out there" in the Elphand Lands, or if you would rather hang around the local area. The original setup was that you had traveled out here on a ship with various maps and leads to adventure, and Blackspell was sort of just the landing spot before you headed out, but nobody has done much talking about following the leads, so to recap some of those...

There are the ruins of a city destroyed in a magical catastrophe north of the bay. There is the trade river to Damkina, through which no trade is flowing. There is the tomb of Aethering. There is a city lost benethh the bay.
There are the villages to the east. There are the elf villages which have also lost contact with the outside world. To get to any of that stuff, you need to pick a direction and go there :) Any thoughts?

Haven't read Damiane's thread, obviously, so maybe she will have learned something interesting. I also remember you mentioned arena masters were looking for tamed creatures, that could be fun too. (my vote would be on this for now)

I would be all for the tomb or the ruined city but I feel we might be a bit short on henchmen for the tougher stuff.
If we could get some more henchmen with turn undead I think graverobbery is a decent way to gold and power.

Cant remember the tamed creature thing but do we have enough people with charm animal. trapping or beast friendship?
