Chapter 3: Arrival in Gaer Anobaith & the Foamy Mugg Inn

Ok, Rolls for Baldo 'Jenks' Jenkins:

Did Jenks, switch back to his new boots upon arriving at the Inn or still in his old pair?

Jenks' attempt to secretly leave Mugg's property results in a guard spotting him & raising his bow,

"Halt! Who goes there, come out where i can see you better, with your hands up!"

Hemlocks:

"Well guys, see you in morning." Hemlocks, heads to the large room containing the two beds and the cedar chest.

When he enters he will lay his travel supplies next to the far left bed, away from the window, and settle down next to the fireplace to warm himself up.

Lighting up a smoke he relaxes before sleep takes hold of him.

Heading to bed he stops and looks at the rug near the entrance. Lifting it up he examines its design an tries to figure out what the pattern represents.

Before placing it down he looks at the floor it was resting on for anything 'unusual'. He does the same to the chest...moves it an looks it over.

He also glances at the floor that the chest covered for anything 'unusual'.

The Doctor:

Once finished eating his cheese plate heads off to look for a place to rest, relax and read.

Hemlocks, examination of the objects in the bedrooms reveal nothing out of the usual.

As far as he can tell with the rug, it is just a design & nothing more.

Tuireann will spend the night in the stable with Tewahutes.

OOC: I hope someone remembers the saddle bags in the inn and takes them to their room.

Taking his harmonica, and taking a stringed instrument standing on the wall (if there is one) Procyon positions himself in the center of the room, with a little music in his mind.

Got killed by a blow, lay slain by a cane
That sailed through the air and came down through the room
Doomed and determined to destroy all the gentle
And she never done nothing to William Zanzinger

In the courtroom of honor, the judge pounded his gavel
To show that all’s equal and that the courts are on the level
And that the strings in the books ain’t pulled and persuaded
And that even the nobles get properly handled
Once that the cops have chased after and caught ’em

Stared at the person who killed for no reason
Who just happened to be feelin’ that way without warnin’
And he spoke through his cloak, most deep and distinguished
And handed out strongly, for penalty and repentance
William Zanzinger with a six-month sentence

So everyone but Tuireann & Cayley will spend the night in the two Inn bedrooms??

8 people cramped in 2 rooms. Sounds like a party!
We should roll to see who gets the beds.

As I didn't specify I can live with having old boots on still! Looks like he needs the new ones!!

Will head to bed without any further investigation. He'll sleep in one of the two inn bedrooms provided, but be warned: he snores!

Elusev will grab a bed if one is not taken, if not he is fine with sleeping on the floor.

Jenks says to the guardsman,

The Guardsman says,

"Well Tis humble Guardsman, is watching for goblins in the night & suggests you stay at the inn, least you wish to become a pin cushion, Sir."

Procyon gets a round of applause from the regulars in the Inn!

It appears however that the other adventurers dozed off, weary from the travel to get here!

Dungeon Master:

Ok, to get things moving along here & assuming Tuireann & Cayley, went to spend the night in the Mugg's stable with Tewahutes:


Your time at The Foamy Mugg Inn has been informative.

The food and the drink provided you was excellent, and despite the unfortunate events here,

you are inspired by the courage of the men guarding the walls.

Eventually the warm quilts and soft pillows win the battle with your racing thoughts and you are fast asleep.

You are awakened it seems in moments, although instinctively you know it has been hours.

The dog staying with the couple down the hall is barking relentlessly and you hear a scratching sound in the

hallway outside your door!

The Doctor:

Gets up a bit groggily "Oh lord either we are under attack or there is a animal scratching at the door. Come everyone we should be awake and at alert someone should check the door I'd wager."

Elusev Coldharbor:

Will quietly get out of bed and grab his and one arrow in haste. He will creep up to the door slowly and carefully pull the door open, cracking it to the hallway, Peering out into the hallway to see if anything is there.

Tuireann will spend the night in the stable with Tewahutes.

I assumed we put him in the Inns stables but we can have in the fort.

Dungeon Master:

When Elusev opens the door there is a black bear cub, at least that is what Elusev, thought at first in his groggy state,

after jumping back a bit from being startled, he shakes himself, regains his composure, & realizes it is a black Newfoundland dog,

scratching & barking at the door.

Elusev opens the door again & as the dog continues to bark, looks down the hallway to see Three Goblins.
