Dungeon Master:

Mugg says to The Doctor,

"If Idhrenwen, was here i'm sure she would have came along, & the Fort Guardsmen, who normally do not fear the Goblin raids, but now that the Goblins come with Worgs, & the guardsmen

numbers recently reduced, are too busy keeping the real threat of the Goblins away, it shall only be me that will accompany your group."

"Since the Goblin raids became recklessly aggressive, frequently stealing all that they can carry with no regard for the lives of the innocent, Idhrenwen & her cooshee Smoke, went to Marmor Quarry to

investigate where the Goblins are known to live in the Dwarven ruins there."

Procyon:

"If I may," Procyon spoke up. "What do the runes inscribed on your arm mean?"
How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, ’n’ how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, ’n’ how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind
The answer is blowin’ in the wind

Hemlocks:

Places down his jug of mead and looks over at the dwarf. "So, we best be heading over to those mines, right Mugg? It seems that the creatures we are hunting might be within those dwarf ruins."

Tapping his new found ring Hemlocks looks toward the fire place. "And this elf woman, she is near these mines; am I correct?"

Dungeon Master:

As the adventurers continue to chat with the guards & townsfolk, & Elaine & Glenys begins to set the adventurer's dinners down for them, Oddgar notices another guardsman coming

into the inn & recognizes him as Captain Arleas Colwyn, he is seen to order a quick sandwich.

Oddgar points Captain Colwyn out to the adventures.

It appears he asked Mugg about the adventurers as Mugg is seen pointing them out to Arleas.

As Mugg tells the Kitchen to fix the sandwich for the Captain, Arleas, comes over to greet them & says,

"Greetings folks I understand you arrived here from Caer Brennau? Did you by chance see an agitated looking, bronze dragon come your way there?"

Arn the Congealer:

Breaks off a handful of bread, spreading cheese across it before taking a bite.

'She was certainly agitated,' he adds after Procyon, 'Why do you ask, Captain? Do you have business with the dragon?'

Detect Evil on the Captain! I don't trust these people who already seem to know too much about our quest.

Dungeon Master:

Captain Arleas Colwyn says to Procyon,

"Oh Wow, almost bit your head off?! So you have dealt with the beast?"

"We fear the bronze dragon was strangely working with the Goblins & now the worgs they recently introduced into their raids here."

"Is Caer Brennau, badly damaged?"

Procyon:

"I managed to somehow initiate a civil conversation with the dragon with some luck. Although afterwards she became increasingly suspicious of my nature, and I was forced to vow my soul in order to appease the beast. 'Tis is what I call 'Monday'."

Procyon took a giant swig of his goblet. "As for the city itself, it was not too damaged."

Arn the Congealer:

Listens to the back and forth. At a brief lull in the conversation, he swallows his last bit of bread and cheese and speaks up.

'Captain Arleas, you spoke of suspicions concerning an alliance between goblins, wargs and the dragon."

"How did you come by these suspicions? Could you tell us more of the raids that have been happening here at the fort?'

Dungeon Master:

Captain Arleas Colwyn says,

"The suspicions are, just an angle, that needed a look into, that is why Idhrenwen & her Cooshee, Smoke, who is smarter than most folk that drink at the inn! (Jeers from the crowd here),

went up to Marmor Quarry where the Goblins are known to live, to investigate & get some answers about these raids."

"I am sure that she will get to the problem with these goblins. She can handle herself, that’s for sure."

"The Goblins have been raiding at night, their aim appears to be simply to plunder & take all they can carry."

"The Goblins were easy to take care of at first, but then they brought along the Worgs, which has now resulted in the loss of several of my men."

To Cayley, Captain Arleas says,

"Oh my dear Lady, yes, your offer of healing, would be much appreciated, I have several injured men, wounded by javelins, morningstars & worg bites."

Mugg then tells the Captain that his sandwich is ready,

"I must depart here now, lots of preparations for another attack & cleaning up to do. It is nice to have met you all. Good Luck on your quest for this dragon egg."

The Captain goes & grabs his sandwich, pays Mugg, & then leaves the Inn.
