Urdak harrumphs and joins the rest of the party by the doors. He gets there just in time to see Odilo nudge the door with his staff. The door doesn't move.

Odilo "Well fine then we sleep and remember to memorize like 6 unseen servant spells i guess that or we start testing the doors our selves."

OOC: Quinn is fine with resting. Since we haven't seen an y wandering monsters, the group might as well rest right where they are. If everyone agrees, Quinn will use healing spells on himself (CLW), and Urdak (CLW) before the group rests. He will also take the first watch.

You settle in for another rest. But rest will not come. Perhaps it is the knowledge that the royal family has little time left. Perhaps it is the fact that you had rested very recently. Or perhaps it is the way the tomb gets into your heads when you try to sleep, giving you fitful dreams filled with visions of your dead comrades.

Whatever the reason, you realize that you will longer find any respite in this place until Acererak is defeated.
Although it's been a few months in real time, not much time at all has passed in game time since the last time you rested. You opened the mithril doors, poked around in the room beyond, freed the Efreet and eventually decided what to ask of it, then found the room beyond the secret door and spent a little time in there. That's maybe three hours, tops, none of it strenuous (except perhaps for leaving yellow spots on the floor when the Efreet showed up). And as far as I can remember without paging back to check, the only spells you've used so far are the two Unseen Servant spells. I'm not all that keen on letting a party "rest" just so it can recover two spells.

McCloud will check for traps by the two doors and then try to unlock them, "perhaps these are the doors that the efreeti said were wish locked?". McCloud swept up the remains of the gold key and unseen remains of Penfold. "I wonder if a bit of sleight of hand and a 'mending' spell will put the key back together so we can try it in this door?"McCloud looks around ruefully for further suggestions.

You do not see a lock on these doors. They are, however, too heavy—or, perhaps, stuck—to open with the poke of a wizard's staff.

Odilo despite his nagging mind reaches for a pull handle or ring/knob to open the door and pulls and or pushes depending upon how the door opens.

You see no handle. If you'd like to try to push the door open, please roll a d6. And let me know whether you'll be opening the door to the east or west.

East. [1d6] = 3
Odilo will also attempt to flatten against the wall so if a spear comes flying out he is not center mass of the door.

If you want to try to open a door, you'll have to put your shoulder into it. No standing to the side and kicking it open with a foot or anything like that. :)

Odilo the Wizard tries to open the heavy, stuck door. Throwing himself at it with all his might, he hits the door with a thud and bounces right off.

Urdak grins and puts a shoulder into the door. It busts open, revealing an empty 10x10 chamber with a door at the opposite side.

The Dwarf stares into the empty room, his feeble brain searching for answers. Finally he turns about, points over his shoulder with a thumb and declares: Zere's nuttn' in zere.

Odilo manages to open this door. It too, opens into a 10x10 room with a door on the other side.
