You learn that the ruins are about a six hour march north east of Lakeside along what used to be a road that went all the way around Dragon Lake, but is just about as much a ruin as the city of Fastomel is.

Hellebore also has 10 days.

I mentioned above checking with those offering the bounties to make sure we know all they have to say about what we should expect on the path ahead. Is there anything additional to info-dump in the adventure thread?

Knocking on Avandar's Tower you see stonework turn into a window three stories up and a head lean out. It's Quint, Avandar servant. He tells you that his master doesn't want to talk to anyone this week, unless they have that scroll he sent that young human to recover from the fallen tower in Fastomel.

"Now be gone!" he says slamming the window shut which promptly turns back into stone...effectively ending the conversation.

The clerics don't have anything to add other than repeat what you've been told by those that went before and survived to tell you, "Go to the ruins. There is a graveyard next to the temple there, a passage can be found in a crypt leading to the archives. That's what we were told. If you can confirm this and bring back proof, we'll reward you and move ahead with efforts to remove all the scrolls and tomes there."

If Hellebore, or anyone else, asks around you learn very little as most conversations go something like this, "Fastomel is very old and in ruins now. It is occupied by monsters, Kobolds and Goblins for sure and maybe Orc's too! You won't catch me going there!"
