Turn 1

Okay, as you guys are making decisions on what to do, about 50 yards ahead of you on the street, you see a black limo pull into view driving in your general direction. It is doing about 20 mph and appears to be heading toward a building marked as Lancaster Inc. As you see it move closer, several men step into view, weapons drawn, and open fire on the limo. The driver side of the vehicle is immediately shredded and the vehicle veers drunkenly to a stop and you see one of the attackers pull out an anti-tank weapon and take ail on the limo.

At this time, I am moving you guys into combat time and everyone starts at sequence 12 of the turn.

If anyone is not sure about what they can or cannot do in a turn, pm me or put it in the ooc area and I will answer you...

running some quick mental calculation I know we will get minor concussion force from the explosion but lots of shrapnel out just beyond where we are standing, so Shadow will duck behind the nearest vehicle and crouch down.draw his weapon and ensure it is loaded, and turn off the safety.

Boots

Boots puts half is MP into adding to his running speed and half in to protection. He covers about a quarter of the distance (6" / 12 m) to the gunmen taking very long strides and then saves a half action to see how they react.

Hawk also dives for cover, then looks around for any indication of a getaway vehicle they might have waiting nearby.

Can you give me a perception check? All dice rolls involving combat, skill, or attribute checks are 3d6.

Okay, for NPC actions on turn phase 12, the man with the anti-tank rocket takes aim again. The other men (3 more) are scanning the area. The civilians are scrambling to clear the area.
Bad Guy 1 armed with a laser rifle - Perception [3d6]=11
Bad Guy 2 armed with an assault carbine - Perception [3d6]=7
Bad Guy 3 armed with several grenades - Perception [3d6]=8

Okay, the 3 covering bad guys take note of your positions and aim in your general directions, mainly like covering action, not really aiming to shoot.

Okay, does everyone understand when their characters can act next in the phases?

Okay, it appears that there is a type of minivan down the block, parked at the entrance of an alley, that could be a get away vehicle. About 60 yards from your position.

My understanding is the following:

SPD = 3 (Phases 4, 8, 12)
SPD = 4 (Phases 3, 6, 9, 12)
SPD = 5 (Phases 3, 5, 8, 10, 12)
So Hawk has SPD 4, so goes on 3,6,9,12.

Should we read yards as metres?

Kane will make sure he is behind cover and ready himself to take a shot on the closest bad guy.

Kane has a 4 speed.

If the agents do not react to his advancement on segment 12, on segment 2 Boots will complete finish his move with another half-move (5" more, 11" total) towards the action.

On a 3 Hawk will do a full move (7") towards the minivan, using cover as best he can.

You can. They are very similar.

Your shot missed. There are civilians behind the anti-tank, so possibility of collateral damage. Your shot will make a DCV 0 attack to see if you hit.
Attack roll [3d6]=11 Your shot flies right by a civilian before slamming into a warehouse creating a new door.
