About This Game
Campaign ID# 911 on the roller.
This game will be starting in the GreyHawk setting, and has potential to later in the game move into Ravenloft. We will be running through the Lankhmar adventure - LNQ1 - Slayers of Lankhmar. Though the location will be moved to a city in GreyHawk.
There will be 2 groups of PCs for this game. I split the players into groups at random, here are the groups listed:
Group A
Bluehorse
Monsieur Rose
ravenn4544
spanningtree
tarlyn
Group B
Darklin2
Rex
RiverGreenForest
SilverBen
Storm11
Note:This is subject to be changed and updated over time.
The intention is that the groups will not be aware (IC) of one another to start with, and are not meant to work together but anything can happen. Initially both groups will start in their own private forum (to keep things secret/separate).
Sourcebooks Approved:
AD&D 2e Player's Handbook
GreyHawk Player's Guide
GreyHawk Gods of GreyHawk
AD&D 2e Player's Options: Skills & Powers
AD&D 2e Player's Options: Spells & Magic
AD&D 2e Tome of Magic
PHBR14 - The Complete Barbarian's Handbook
The Scarlet Brotherhood (GreyHawk book)
PHBR3 - The Complete Priest's Handbook
Tentative Sourcebooks:
Other AD&D 2e Complete Handbooks (run ideas by DM please)
DMGR7 - The Complete Book of Necromancers

Re: About This Game
Neato torpedo. Any book requirements?
Re: About This Game
Can we use Unearthed Arcana in case a player may wish to play, say, a Barbarian?
I Presume if we play a race we can not use their handbooks.

Re: About This Game
Tarlyn you're thinking like this is 1e Barbarian is a thing in 2e just not in the PHB, it's in other books though I don't recall UA being a book in 2e maybe I missed it. I'll update with sourcebooks and what not later today I may even be allowing Evil alignments this round just not Chaotic Evil. Well not unless folks want to have to bust their group mates from prison often... RGF I'll update the info later with material info.

Re: About This Game
I've edited the original post to so far include 6 sourcebooks that I'm approving for use. I might also add Guide to the World of Greyhawk Fantasy Setting which is part of the GreyHawk Boxed Set.

Re: About This Game
What's in the GreyHawk Player's Guide? I'll have to do some digging for a physical copy or just settle on a .pdf.

Re: About This Game
I hadn't created a campaign on the roller just yet. I'll do that now.

Re: About This Game
Well again the groups may change depending on the alignments folks roll with so far I have only seen 1 character sheet via PM. I was thinking this might be a better practice until I know for certain if the groups will remain as they are listed or be changed. Once changed I can ask for 2 private forums and have only those groups have access to them, and I'll have a PC sheet spot for each group there.
Sound fair enough?
You guys can even decide on a group name if you want to.
